Positive: If you want to experience rural Indonesian life, here's the place! Wonderful homestay with a friendly older couple. They don't speak English, but we had really interesting conversations with Google translate. Purwadi showed me around the town, we visited his relatives and went to a big local festival together (Kebo-Keboan). Had a lot of fun! The room in the upper floor is spacious and clean, there's a "veranda" with a table and a private bathroom. Prolonged my stay twice as I liked it so much.
Negative: While the food is delicious, in can get quite repetitive. The mosque is quite near, so I got woken up around 4am every morning.
