This spacious and inviting vacation home is located in the quiet village of Netze on the former Waldeck estate. With stylishly furnished interiors and generous space, it is perfect for one or even two families traveling together.
Just 5 km from the beautiful Lake Edersee, this house is the ideal starting point for summer hikes through the nearby nature park or exciting water sports activities on the lake. In winter, the ski resorts around Willingen are only a 45-minute drive away – an ideal retreat for the whole year.
A cozy fireplace in the living room and another on the first floor provide warmth and charm. The large garden with seating and an outdoor fireplace (which can also be used as a barbecue) makes the house particularly cozy. Three private parking spaces are available in the courtyard. Please note: The house is not wheelchair accessible.
Reservations for groups of persons under 18 years of age are not permitted

Summary: Gastvrije eigenaar welkom huis, prima omgeving om tot rust te komen. Geen WiFi en slecht bereik 4G en dit draagt bij tot het onthaasten.

Summary: We werden goed ontvangen en rondgeleid door de eigenaars. Het huis ligt in een heel idyllische omgeving en is zeer pittoresk. De tuin is leuk voor jong en oud. Je kan zeer mooi wandelen in de omgeving. De eigenaars waren zeer vriendelijk, gedurende ons hele verblijf, en daarom vinden we het jammer om toch te moeten melden dat er heel wat tekortkomingen zijn aan deze woning. De citroentjesgeur bij aankomst maskeerde een onderliggend geurprobleem. De hele benedenverdieping had er last van, een geur van ouderdom, vocht en schimmel, die je tegemoet kwam als je de trap afging. De badkamer beneden stonk (verbeterde iets door water te laten stromen in de afvoeren). De keukenkasten roken werkelijk oud, vochtig en schimmelig en waren helemaal niet netjes. Zelfs de aanwezige sponsjes en vaatdoeken stonken. De keukenkasten waren niet netjes, het stof lag dik op het koffiezetapparaat, in heel veel hoeken beneden hingen spinnen. In het deurtje van de microgolf zat een serieuze barst en de koelkast sloot niet erg goed. De keuken was heel krap als je met 7 rond de tafel moest. Bij aankomst was het ook heel erg koud in de woning. Het leek alsof er een hele tijd niemand in de woning had verbleven. De verwarming werkte niet, vanalles geprobeerd om die aan de praat te krijgen (met 11° buiten, was het echt koud), volgende morgen eigenaars niet te bereiken. Dan maar de kachel gebruikt, met als gevolg dat de zolderverdieping onbeslaapbaar werd doordat de warme schoorsteen daar een geur afgaf, als van een pasgeverfd oppervlak. De kamers waren qua grootte OK, maar de matrassen waren van het type jeugdherberg en lagen niet echt fijn voor volwassenen. Verder was er geen enkele vorm van verduistering voor de ramen voorzien, enkel lichte gordijntjes voor de gewone ramen, en helemaal niks voor de dakramen. Niet aangenaam, midden in de zomer. Dan maar zelf donkere fleece dekentjes en wasknijpers gekocht en er het beste van gemaakt. De badkamer boven was beter, maar als je een douche nam, had je niet voortdurend warm water. Vanaf het moment dat beneden iemand op hetzelfde moment een beetje warm water nam, moest je boven wachten tot het water weer warm werd. Ook was er geen enkele voorziening om handdoeken open te drogen te hangen. Dit huis is niet comfortabel. Eten, dagelijkse verzorging en slapen, zijn basisbehoeften waaraan je op een comfortabele manier zou moeten kunnen voldoen, zeker op vakantie. Dit is hier helemaal niet het geval. Om te eindigen met een positieve noot er is een heel lekker Italiaans restaurantje in het dorp, dat wij jammer genoeg pas de laatste avond hebben ontdekt...
