At Gerrie’s Place 2 you will experience the Rural Life in an Urban Area.
Located on a Llama Ranch!
At Gerrie’s Place2 you have a private entrance, a private fenced yard, and a private cottage. We welcome everyone. (but please remember, Gerrie's Place 2 is not set up for parties or social gatherings - only registered guests are allowed in this quiet cottage!).
We also welcome your well behaved, house trained dogs. (Dogs must be crated if unattended ... no cats).
We are a wonderful location for dining, sports events, tourist attractions, shopping malls, Metro and more. Suburb of Houston Texas.
When you are at Gerrie's Place2, we welcome you to take a tour of the ranch and meet the animals up close. You can see them from your LARGE covered front porch and your windows. In fact, a llama, a sheep, a tortoise, and a pot bellied pig live in your back yard. To experience more, a tour is available and must be scheduled ahead of time. If you are staying for more than 1 night at Gerrie's Place 2, your tour is discounted. All tours must be scheduled in advance. You do not casually walk around on your own.
There is a gift shop on site with Handmade Llama Fiber Rugs, (like what you will use in Gerrie's Place 2), Felted Llama Soap (like what you will use in Gerrie's Place 2), and more llama/alpaca related items. (nothing is killed in the making of these beautiful items).
Gerrie's Place 2 is a wonderful location for all your eating and entertainment needs. On this rode alone (Mueschke Rd.), we have quite a few restaurants and bars.
Gerrie's Place 2 is close to the Houston Premium Outlets. There are other shopping locations .... Memorial City Mall, Willowbrook Mall, The Galleria, Old Town Spring.
Entertainment includes: Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Dave & Buster's, Topgolf, Wet'n'Wild, SplashTown, Space Center Houston, Houston Zoo, Texas Renaissance Festival, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Children's Museum of Houston, Houston Museum District, Downtown Aquarium, Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Texas, San Jacinto Monument, San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site, & Battleship of Texas and much more. Summary: Robin’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our short stay for a weekend trip to Houston. It was a delight to wake up in the morning and feed Wally the goat and say hi to a variety of adorable animals. The cottage itself was pristine, very clean, and very comfortable. The fact that there were dog bowls and a bed already present in the house was a great touch for our little fur baby. Robin’s communication both before and during the stay was great- including a personalized message on the dry erase board upon our arrival. When we need to come back to the area in the future, we will definitely stay here again. One of my best VRBO experiences to date. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: This is a really cute stay would definitely recommend. The host gave us a tour and the weather was nice. We enjoyed waking up to animals and will hopefully revisit in the future.

Summary: This place is amazing and I highly recommend Gerries 2. This has an open floor plan with plenty of room. The front deck is very large and you can watch and feed the animals from it. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could and will frequent this place regularly. Robin is a fabulous hostess and everyone is so nice. Don’t forget about the tours they have. Can’t say enough good things about it. Definitely book this!

Summary: Gerrie's Place 2 is an adorable cottage with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom which overlooks a large, fenced-in yard. In the yard are lots of rescued animals, which you can feed with small treats. There's nothing like waking up to an emu taking a bath in a puddle and then giving a goat a treat! The cottage is cozy, perfect for one or two people, and Robin the host is very accommodating. I've stayed here twice now, when in town for work. Wanting a home away from home that comes with some animal friends is a truly charming way to spend your stay while in the Cypress area!

Summary: My stay was easy & comfortable! Robin was helpful at check-in & available if needed through the stay. Gerrie’s Place 2 was a nice weekend getaway & the benefit of the animal visits was nice too, each morning. All comforts were thought of for my stay! Couldn’t have asked for more!
