Located on a Llama Ranch!
At Gerrie’s Place1 you have a private entrance, a private fenced yard, and a private cottage. We welcome everyone. (but please remember, Gerrie's Place1 is not set up for parties or social gatherings - only registered guests are allowed in this quiet cottage!)
Gerrie’s Place1 is designed with ADA specs in mind. We have tried to remove barriers and make Gerrie’s Place 1 more accessible.
We also welcome your well behaved, house trained dogs. (Dogs must be crated if unattended ... no cats)
We are a wonderful location for dining, sports events, tourist attractions, shopping malls, Metro and more. Suburb of Houston Texas.
When you are at Gerrie's Place1, we welcome you to take a tour of the ranch and meet the animals up close. You can see them from your LARGE covered back porch and your windows. In fact, a llama, a sheep, a tortoise, and a pot bellied pig live in your back yard. To experience more, a tour is available and must be scheduled ahead of time. If you are staying for more than 1 night at Gerrie's Place1, your tour is discounted. All tours must be scheduled in advance. You do not casually walk around on your own.
There is a gift shop on site with Handmade Llama Fiber Rugs, (like what you will use in Gerrie's Place1), Felted Llama Soap (like what you will use in Gerrie's Place1), and more llama/alpaca related items. (nothing is killed in the making of these beautiful items).
Gerrie's Place1 is a wonderful location for all your eating and entertainment needs. On this rode alone (Mueschke Rd.), we have quite a few restaurants and bars.
Gerrie's Place is close to the Houston Premium Outlets. There are other shopping locations .... Memorial City Mall, Willowbrook Mall, The Galleria, Old Town Spring.

Summary: Robin is the perfect host, so thoughtful! She had some great recommendations of places to visit and eat in the area and surrounding small towns. We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend; coffee in the morning, plenty of hot water for showers, plus the bed was so comfortable, it's been awhile since I've slept that well. My sister and I enjoyed every minute, especially sitting on the porch, watching the animals throughout their day. We didn't want to leave, but felt we made new friends and will definitely return!

Summary: The cabin was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. Everything was extremely clean and well stocked. Wally the goat kept me company while I drank my coffee on the front porch. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Summary: We have stayed in many vacation rentals but this is the best. Our short stay was awesome, peaceful & calm. Ruby & Robin are great Host. Loved listening to The Rooster in the morning & talking to Gods Creatures early in the morning. They definitely will bring joy to your heart. It’s a bit of heaven on earth. Pet friendly, very, very clean & comfortable. Will definitely keep coming, back.

Summary: Such a great property! Absolutely loved staying here and knowing our stay helps to contribute to their cause is icing on the cake! Sitting on the front porch and feeding a few treats to the animals was a perfect start to the day! Robin came over and told me about the animals and their efforts on Figment Ranch and I was in awe. Robin, thank you for all the lil touches that made our stay perfect! Hope to be back soon!

Summary: My husband and I had an amazing stay! It was so lovely to wake up in the morning and look out at the animals in the back yard. The accommodations were clean and had everything you could need! The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone!

Summary: Gerrie’s place Is fully autonomous. The entire yard and apartment is fenced in with a locking gate, and there is a small front porch and a large back deck. Just beyond the deck there is a pasture with animals - llamas, Wally the goat, chickens, turkeys, sheep, pigs, and a multitude of flying birds - I counted 15 cardinals one day. Each of these animals comes to the deck to get treats that they eat right out of your hand. They are really fun to watch, and they will make you laugh. It is a lovely, calming place. The owners - Robin, Ruby, and Sean couldn’t be nicer or friendlier. I spent a month there, but I could live there forever. ❤️

Summary: We came down on a surprise trip for my girlfriend’s birthday. Robin was so helpful in setting up our stay and the 1:1 llama experience and tour. My girlfriend was beside herself when we arrived and there were llamas in the yard. She thought we’d just get a basic tour of the grounds and couldn’t believe that Robin spent so much time teaching about the the animals and training us to help with the llamas. We had such an amazing time with all the animals and my girlfriend hasn’t stopped talking about the trip since we left. Robin was an amazing host and Gerrie’s place was comfortable and a perfect weekend home. You owe it to yourself to check out the ranch and schedule a tour!!
