Short walk from the house to the famous 'cliffs' at Greers Ferry lake. 2 championship golf courses, nice tennis facility, 3 community pools (including the cool pool with cafe and view of greers ferry lake). 90 miles of ATV/UTV trails are so much fun as well as hiking/walking trails nearby. There are several playgrounds for the kids, basketball court, a disc golf course, and putt-putt course! Something for everyone!

Summary: Pros: Carport parking, easy entry, wheelchair or handicapped accessible from front door ramp onto deck. Room to spread out inside and out. Wrap around deck has comfortable seating and multiple seating options. Comfortable beds, enough pillows and extra bedding. Laundry room was convenient and well stocked. Kitchen was well stocked and had cooking utensils which were greatly appreciated. The basement was a great play space for visiting children. The proximity to the famous cliffs at Fairfield Bay was fantastic. We loved our walks to the lake and the kids loved jumping off the cliffs. Overall we loved our time spent at the house and would rent again. Cons: This is an older home that needs bathroom plumbing attention. The master tub/shower has a handle that is very difficult to operate which has been mentioned in other reviews. Additionally, the master shower/tub was not draining. Mold/mildew smell has also been mentioned in other reviews. My family wasn’t bothered by it. I am very sensitive to mold and mildew and I was the only one who really noticed.

Summary: Details and the little things can make a stay so pleasurable. This place is so well thought-out, obviously re-evaluated/tweaked after each visitor, and thorough. You can tell because of the clear directions, various coffee pods, child plates/plastic ware, toys, towels, toiletries, ice, televisions, outdoor spaces, you name it. It was a super hot weekend out on the lake, and we loved coming back “home” to such a refreshing and lovely place. We had never been to that area, so some pamphlets and information would have helped us regarding boat docks, lack of marina restaurants that are accessible by boat, the need for shirts to cover swimsuits in some establishments, etc. There was lots of info about the area but not the lake where we were boating per se.

Summary: We had a great time in Fairfield Bay during spring break. Our two young boys thoroughly enjoyed the foosball table and downstairs game room. Had a small issue on the first night, but the owner quickly responded and took care of it. Happy to recommend this place if you're staying in the area!

Summary: The property is more isolated than we thought but that comes with less noise nd traffic. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious enough for three couples. The shower handle in the shared bathroom was stuck and required both effort and the help of a plumber (for concern of breaking) to get it working. That cost us a couple hours of vacation time having to wait for service. The basement is spacious but has a mildew smell (like many in the area); we avoided spending time there. The kitchen was roomy and had all the utensils we needed; unfortunately, after we searched to find the coffee pot, we discovered a used...very moldy filter with old grounds. We did not use the coffee maker. Overall, the house is pleasant and provided sufficient room to gather or to relax on the deck.

Summary: We had a blast and would love to come stay again next year! House is just a short walk from awesome swimming and great cliffs for jumping. Jill was fantastic and the home was perfect.
