Positive: We loved every second of our stay at Giardino 21 Marzo. The location is simply unbeatable. The host is super-kind and helping. The place is super-quiet, something we highly value, although it is very close to quite crowded places like Naples and Amalfi coast. We look forward to coming back to Giardino 21 Marzo next time we will visit the area!

Positive: We recently enjoyed a wonderful holiday at this beautiful spot—it truly feels like stepping out of the modern world and into a peaceful, timeless escape. The views are breathtaking, the garden is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and deeply relaxing. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the Italian breakfast was absolutely delicious—homemade and heartwarming. We had seen a few reviews mention the narrow, steep road to reach the place, and we’ll admit—we brushed them off, thinking “They’re probably just not used to a bit of rural charm.” Well… fair enough. The road is indeed narrow, steep, and slightly scary at first! But with a little help from our wonderful host, we soon realised it’s totally manageable—and a small price to pay for those incredible views. That said, if you’re not a confident driver, you can always park a bit further down the road and walk from there. Another big plus for us was a fantastic restaurant just five five-minute walk away—great food, same stunning views, and zero effort involved. After a day of sightseeing, it was pure luxury to return to the apartment, freshen up, stroll down for dinner, and enjoy a glass of wine (or 2) without a care. As for the cleaning, it’s not spotless, but honestly, that’s part of the rustic charm. If you value character, calm, and soul-soothing beauty, you’ll love it here. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our return.

A little supermarket just a walk around the corner, the owner so friendly. Perfect base for almafi coast, sorrento and pompei

Positive: The property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of Mount Vesuvius. We loved the pool and how quiet the area was. The room we had was quite spacious as well! Lino and Maria was super kind to us; they picked us up from the train station upon arrival and drove us to the ferry a few times. They definitely went above and beyond. The night before leaving, my partner lost his backpack with our valuables and Lino drove us around the town to find it, doing everything in his power to make sure we got it back. We will never forget the kindness he extended us in this stressful situation. Thank you so much for everything. There are a few restaurants in the town but we specifically loved Dal Patriarcha, the food and decor was 10/10.
Negative: The location is beautiful but harder to access without a car. Public transportation is fine but takes awhile to get around and you’ll need to educate yourself on the bus schedule and plan ahead. Taxis are expensive.
Summary: We would highly recommend it. Peaceful location, beautiful views and amazing hosts.
