Summary: Bit soulless. Electronic check in with phone-controlled door locks/access. Room very hot as no aircon in Liechtenstein and fan only moderately helpful. Conveniently located and fine for a night.

Summary: Overall it's a great hotel, but it looses big on check-in. Leading off with the complete frustration, the self check-in was absolute garbage. Yes, they send you an online form a few hours before checkin, but if you are driving or flying in, it does you little good, especially when you've been through all of that and may not have battery or even internet. If you go the route of the website itself, (wifi is communicated in the lobby well), it is quite bulky. I think I had to enter my birthday 3 times on the same chain of questions. On the other hand, you can use the kiosk to enter the data, but you need your reservation code (10 characters)... see pre-rant on getting to that from the websites, etc. Back to checkin, when arriving, there was only 1 kiosk, about 10 suitcases in the lobby, 6 people all confused and angry and only 2 chairs. 1 person seemed to have good communication on the phone with reception but was running out of local phone minutes. No one checking in was prepared and it was not intuitive. Those entering data into the kiosk (passport info, address, nationality, bday, etc etc.) Took forever and then something wouldn't go right and they started over. Bottom line is that it was a mess, and it has been every hotel I've tried with this same system. So, hotel is a really nice value, but checkin is 2/10. As for the hotel itself, it is quite nice. A generous balcony, nice enough bathroom and bed to be what you need it to be. Ceiling fan a big plus with no AC.

Summary: This is a beautiful hotel, the room, bathroom and balcony were all very nice. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning, on hot nights the fun is not enough.

Summary: Staying in Liechtenstein for a reasonable price with a view of the castle was a highlight. Self check-in and check-out was smooth. Recommended as bus stop from both Austria and Switzerland stops close. Walking distance to Vaduz center

Summary: A lovely cafe staff, ample breakfast, very modern rooms, awesome shower, great views, combined with a much appreciated "welcome pass" on the bus service. If I had any complaint it was that the rooms are a little small for a 4-day stay, and it would have been nice had there been laundry facilities.

Summary: At first I was a little skeptical as this hotel is self-check in and I was concerned about accessing my room however I was pleasantly surprised and very happy that I selected Giessen Hotel and Coffeehouse! There were easy to use directions to check in and the ability to self code a key or more was super easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part was breakfast! It was by far the most enjoyable breakfast experience we have had in our travels. The Coffeehouse assigned our table by room number so finding a space was not a problem. The self select menu was perfect and allowed for as much food as you could eat. After you make your breakfast selections, give the list to the staff and they take over. The service was quick and the food was fresh and delicious! The coffee was wonderful and I highly recommend the Ginger Lemon shots! The hotel is also centrally located so getting to the the surrounding sites was also very easy! I highly recommend a stay at the Giessen Hotel and Coffeehouse.
