Positive: Great location. Comfy bed. Good shower. Kettle, tea & coffee in the room. Bar staff were lovely and nice to have a pint outside in the sun at the end of a day on the hill.

Negative: No Mountain View, just a view straight into another room. Nowhere other than the floor to put anything- a chest of drawers, or ikea style cube box or table or hanging rail would be great. No bedside lights. And most disappointing “breakfast included” is laughable. The cheapest, most meagre scraps offered in a charmless room. They can and should do better. And Booking.com should make them amend their fraudulent advertising - breakfast & Mountain View 👎🏻. The pub food is adequate. I think it’s expensive for the same old tired menu all the Lakes pubs have. Wouldn’t take much for this place to be really good.

Negative: Breakfast was included and said was continental. Very basic food provided, nothing hot or savoury. Extra charge for hot breakfast which wasn’t mentioned on website while booking.
