Summary: Our room was not secure on our arrival. The key was in the door. The room did not appear to be fully prepared. There was no cover for the bedding or no towels, etc. Space was not great especially by the inside the bed where it was very narrow where I had to shuffle sideways to get in and out of the bed. The cooker combination only partly worked. The oven would not worked. The clothes line was falling apart and the barbecue equipment was one barbecue fork, later joined by tongs.

Summary: La Digue is a studio style apartment with a seperate bathroom. It is comfortable, clean and well maintained. It has all the usual kitchen equipment. It is a perfect size for two people. The best feature is the ajoining terrace which looks out onto the beautiful garden and pool. The owners Patrick and Stijn are perfect friendly hosts always avaiable if you have any problems. Two restaurants, a tea shop, and a well stocked small supermarket are all within walking distance of the gite. I would recommend this property for a relaxed holiday in beautiful surroundings.
