Positive: The property has been appointed and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. Old town and new town easily accessible to walk to. Garden, with a shady spot to sit in, is a nice place to relax outside.
Negative: This is not a criticism- the steps to the mezzanine bedroom are possibly too steep for some people, but there is also a sofa bed available downstairs.
Summary: A great place for a few days relaxation.

Positive: Excellent quality and well fitted out. Great host very friendly and helpful. Lovely small terrace and garden.
Negative: The steps to the mezzanine bed area are very steep and only have a hand rail to the wall side so a little precarious.

Positive: Very modern apartment. Good communication from host who lives next door (not that we saw him til we left). Easy parking on the street.
Negative: The bedroom is in the loft which was totally fine for us, but the stairs wouldn't be suitable for everyone. This was the first place that it was expected we cleaned, which perhaps is the norm for apartments? Was just a surprise to us as booking.com doesn't make that clear. It was easy enough to clean, just be aware. Also we were in Chauvigny on Monday and found the village to be closed. Again, maybe that's the norm. Great place to stay.

Negative: The very steep stair could be a problem for someone less mobile. There was parking across the road but this was permanently full so had to park on the street.
Summary: Nice quiet location near to the centre of the town. Comfortable and modern.

Positive: It’s a lovely converted building which has so many unique features. The bed was very comfortable but as others have said, the stairs are not for the faint hearted! We were fortunate to arrive on a gloriously warm early Spring day and enjoyed the views from the garden of the Citadel. Magnifique!
Negative: Unless I missed it, there is only a microwave and not an oven, although we were able to manage for one evening. It would be useful to have a higher hanging hook to place the shower head in. My husband is over 1.8m and had to hold the shower head using his hand whilst trying to wash. Not an easy feat!
