Summary: Very conveniently located to visit area of Aquitaine and Bordeaux Owner very helpful and ensured that we were welcomed on arrival and ensured we were aware of all the facilities and local shops etc Property was well equipped, clean and compact Would stay there again

Summary: The gîte was minimal but sufficient (watch out for the last step going upstairs!). The company, the owner, was congenial. And the geographical situation next to the Dordogne River was superb!

Summary: This was an excellent location from which to explore the Dordogne Valley. This gite is across the road from a small boat ramp on the Dordogne, and about a 10 minute drive from St Emilion. We only spent two nights- not enough time to explore everything the area had to offer. We enjoyed the Bordeaux wines, and the vineyards stretched in all directions. The free bicycle use was a nice perk. We enjoyed a few meals outside in the covered patio, and a few at restaurants in St Emilion. Chai Pascal was our favorite- excellent food and reasonably priced. Roland Nicouleau, our host, was very friendly and accommodating. We speak very little French, and he speaks no English, but he was very patient with us and communication was not a problem. We would definitely recommend this gite to friends and would stay here if we return to the area.
