Set in established garden and extensive 2 hectare grounds lies Waikoukou Homestead, a 5 bedroom villa with 3 living areas and a large swimming pool with outdoor loungers. At 285sqm within the house there is plenty of space for your group or family to relax and unwind away from the busyness of daily life. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck taking in the rural outlook of the neighboring working sheep and beef farm.
Help yourself to fresh produce from a large vegetable garden. The large front lawn formerly a tennis court is perfect for games of cricket and cool off in the pool afterwards. Neighbouring the pool lies a native bush reserve. On a wet day the games room offers plenty of games and table tennis. Only 15 mins to visit the cafes and wineries in Martinborough or The Gladstone Pub famous for it beautiful garden bar overlooking the river, perfect for a weekend lunch.
Please note that this property is not suitable for larger party groups due to limited water supply and respect to our nearby neighbours who have a young family.

Summary: Sarah’s home was a wonderful getaway for our group of 8 friends (with 5 infants in tow). We had ample space despite our large group. Great lawn/backyard cricket area, pool and games room - so much to entertain ourselves with that we didn't have to leave. Highly recommend!

Summary: This place is awesome!!! The house exceeded our expectations upon arrival with its beautiful gardens, really large rooms with high ceilings all done out tastefully. The pool was absolutely fab and made our stay. Had nice outside furniture and a further seating area above the pool for having breakfast and lunch. All the bedrooms were a great size and very comfortable. The kitchen was also well equiped with stunning views out on to the gardens and surrounding fields. We sat out most evenings having a bbq and picked a few veg and lemons from the garden. Info from the owner was great and everything was super clear and easy. The pictures don't really do this lovely house justice. Will definitely stay again and is one of the best places we have stayed for sure!.

Summary: The home and property are gorgeous! (photos can’t do it justice) The rooms are really nice, kitchen and bbq well equipped and the pool was way bigger than we expected. We would definitely stay here again. The host made us feel really welcome. Cheers
