Positive: Location is walkable from the main temple. It takes a 80 metre walk from the road to reach the guest house, which I did not mind , as they provided luggage assistance .

Negative: What genuinely won me over was the setting — peaceful, unhurried, and blessedly free from the constant honking. The location is another quiet win. The main temple is well within walking distance, which meant no scrambling for autos or haggling with cabs for the morning visit. Just walk - kinda like a pilgrimage (pun intended). Inside, the rooms are kept clean and the staff are consistently accommodating, attentive without being overbearing. There’s a genuine warmth here that you notice in the small things — a prompt response, a helpful suggestion, a room that’s actually been cared for. The one thing I found myself missing was an in-house eatery. After a long day on your feet, having a simple meal on the property would be a real comfort. It’s the kind of addition that wouldn’t take much but would make a meaningful difference to the overall experience. That said, this is a place that understands its guest — the pilgrim, the quiet traveller, the one looking for rest more than resort. And on that count, it delivers rather well.

Positive: The property is located at a peaceful surrounding , which is difficult to find at Bodhgaya. The owner is easy to reach and responsive, and accommodate requests. The rooms are one of the largest I have stayed which can accommodate at least four adults (cots are arranged at a nominal fee). I asked kite flying and the staff arranged it next day. I wish that this property had meal options. Rest everything was professionally handled. Larger families can opt for 2 BHK room of family room(as per the staff). Surprisingly many families were having own cooking arrangements and bigger rooms (300sq ft) has a full fledged kitchen. Would highly recommend for families who want an economic stay with best value for money. Kids can watch or touch buffalo/ goat enjoying 😅 nearby.

Summary: Easy, economic, huge rooms, kitchen area (family room), terrace, no food service and responsive owner and staff.

Positive: The property is new, it was clean and spacious. The Mahabodhi Temple is nearby.

Negative: The approach-way of the property is horrible, through a very narrow muddy lane. It is difficult for elderly to enter. The parking is far away from the hotel and that too on a open muddy field. The behaviour of the owner was very rough and unfriendly. It is under-staffed and nothing is available, not even a bottle of drinking water.

Summary: Not one of the best hotels to check-in at Boudhgaya.
