Mammoth Cave RV Rental | Glamping Tent at Noble Pine Campground

1 Bedroom RV Rental in Mammoth Cave

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. If you're dreaming of a luxurious tent experience you've found it! A queen foam mattress with cotton sheets, mini fridge, coffee, and microwave, small charcoal grill, & dishes, hammock and fire ring, outdoor seating are included. Campground bathrooms are about 80 yards away with hot showers, parking a little further on. Sun shade & AC help with heat, but still may be warm during hot days. Night may be cool even with use of space heater when less than 20 degrees.
The obvious thing to do is visit Mammoth Cave National Park! Lots of hiking in park as close as 800 feet from the campground. Horses are welcome at our campground, we provide stalls and the Lincoln trailhead hiker and horse friendly. There are several cave tours to choose & you may want to choose a couple. We recommend getting tickets in advance as they do sell out. (Visitor center 20-25 minutes via Green River Ferry route call to check schedule, 40 minutes without)
Trail rides are provided at Double J Stables. (5 minutes) Advance reservation recommended.
Opening for the season April -November, The Blue Holler Restaurant serves up German and American fare. Bee spring PJs roadhouse. Bouys at Wax Marina is a fun lake view restaurant experience. Nearby Webb Mart and Forks of Mammoth Cave serve tasty fare in a country store setting.
The Feedmill in Leitchfield (35 min) has good breakfast & lunch & there’s a Mexican restaurant, mi Camino Real, that’s good in that area too. There’s also a Peddler’s Mall in Leitchfield if that interests you.
In Bowling Green (50-55 min) there’s the corvette museum & lost river cave tour if you’re looking for more to do.
Cave city (across the ferry 25 min) has tourist friendly activities including various caves that have been open since the early 1900s. Kayaking tours available down Green River. There are attractions such as Dinosaur World, Kentucky Down Under, & Mammoth Cave Adventure. A favorite stop for me is Leo’s woodworking as you exit the park toward cave city.
I recently went to a cave tour in Horse Cave called hidden river cave (40 min) which was kinda neat. They have antique shops nearby in the little downtown.
10-15 minutes away is an Amish town called Cub Run. They have a couple shops, the Variety Shoppe (equine& homegoods) & Detweilers, which has a small bakery and deli and everything from gardening to furniture. There is a separate hunting & fishing store, Crazy bears, next to detweilers.

Summary: Our stay was more than I could even ask for! The hosts are so friendly and just lovely people. I can tell they pour a lot of love and thoughtfulness into the place. From our tent to the bathrooms, to even its location for the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen! It was the most fun, wholesome and relaxing vacation I’ve ever had with my family. I feel so rejuvenated that I don’t need a vacation from my vacation! I found healing in the nature, the sweetest farm animals and the cozy/comfy GLAMP tent! And also for those who are like me, the bed was luxurious and very comfy! This host thought of EVERYTHING! Even the coffee in the tent had several different leading coffee brands to choose from with different creamers and sweeteners! No mediocre hotel coffee! It’s the real deal! I can’t wait to come back and bring my extended family! Because this place is so wonderful! If you go here ask them about the little cafe that is no more than 5 minutes away. It was delicious! If you’re from the city: 1. Make sure you look at what time sunset happens and wait for it. 2. An hour after sunset, lay in the hammock and look at the stars! You won’t believe how many you can’t see in the city! 3. Look at the stars for at least 10 minutes! That’s how long it took for me to see my first shooting star! 4. Make a bonfire and roast marshmallows! 5. Walk barefoot EVERYWHERE. 6. Ask if you can feed the animals and cuddle with the orange and white cat, “Boots”!

Summary: My wife, 2 kids, and I stayed in this glamping tent during a 3 day visit to Mammoth Caves National Park. It was the perfect getaway. The tent had everything we needed, the property was beautiful, and it was in close proximity to hiking and visiting the park. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals each morning and evening and we all enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. The tent had everything we could need as far as linens, dishes, and a comfortable bed. If we ever make it back to this part of Kentucky, this is where we'll be staying again.

Summary: We had an amazing stay! The property is beautiful, we woke up to horses and goats in the morning and were able to help feed the horses which my kids loved!!! We had rain one night and the tent held up just fine. We hiked across the street on some trails leading into mammoth cave, went for a horseback ride and did a cave tour. The hosts were very welcoming. I highly recommend.

Summary: Very short drive to the beach at the lake. Short drive to Mammoth Cave if the ferry is working. If not, it about 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave. My boys loved feeding the animals at the farm.
