Summary: The room itself was fine- be aware that the bed is extremely soft- like a big marshmallow- if you have a bad back it's worth noting. My biggest complaint had to do with the state of disrepair of a few key elements of the room- the dishwasher was broken and the air conditioning system was also broken. The only way to get ventilation was through a small window the size of a shoebox so the room was very stuffy- and since the room abuts train tracks you hear every train passing by at all hours of the day and night. If I had been informed up front that these items were broken I might have passed on the room. The other weird issue was with the parking- we opted to pay $20/night to use the units assigned parking space and we were given access to a key fob to the garage that didn't seem to work reliably. Nonetheless we parked in the designated spot the first night and wound up getting a ticket from the City of Toronto for $75. If you bring a car, just park on the first floor and use the kiosk to buy a night pass for $24 which is what we ended up doing. If I were to return to Toronto, I would stay elsewhere.....

Summary: The property was nice and clean. The only issue was the sketchy emails requesting the deposit and ID. We also couldn’t access the pool and fitness center in the building, and called GlobalStay who stated it was the building management’s responsibility to give us access. On the other hand, the building management stated that GlobalStay had to give us access to the fitness center and pool. Was a confusing situation but pleasant stay nonetheless.

Summary: Pretty decent place to stay. Felt safe as there were plenty of security measures for accessing the building. We drove so was glad parking was available on site for about $73 u.s dollar. Located close to pretty much anything! the ferry to toronto islands was a 5 min walk and anything else we wanted was really n kore than a 20 min walk. Traffic is crazy because of all the closures due to construction, so pack ur patience. The unit we stayed in had no air (broken) Wasn’t a big deal we just bought a box fan for the stay. Communication with the property manager was easy, quick and no hassle at all.

Summary: Check in is a bit tough after hours. I would consider myself very capable but this was confusing to get instructions, deposit payment links, sending phots of ID and then separate pictures of me holding ID etc.. etc.. but oveall great place!

Summary: I booked a place with 2 bedrooms, or so I thought. It was a bedroom and an alcove with a bed and curtain. That’s not 2 bedrooms. Also, pictures indicated there would be a desk - I had a long meeting so I picked that room, which was more expensive than the room they gave me. This is the reason I gave it 2 stars.

Summary: This is a condo that is rented by Global stay that is listed on Hotels.com/Expedia. The location is great, close to everything. There's a bit of noise from all the trains and transit but for the location it's totally worth it. My only complaint is that it was very hot and stuffy and the window won't open and the AC was shut off. Also, this is a note for Hotels.com, totally not Globalstay fault but it wasn't made clear that this is not a hotel so there was a lot of additional procedure, deposit, cleaning, before I can get in and check out so it added quite a fair bit of annoyance to the process. I would make this super clear to the users before confirm the booking. (The deposit was not mentioned while booked, for example, and usually for hotels those charges are not posted, just pending, instead of charged and then refunded). Again, not Globalstay's fault at all. But the app need to manage that expectation
