An elegant three-bedroom croft style cottage set exclusively atop a hill in a hundred acres of regenerated bush land. Generous decks affording panoramic views of the Valley floor fifty meters below, undercover parking for two cars, stone fire pit, barbecue, teak outdoor seating and fresh eggs daily from our Isa Brown hens are part of the deal.
The master suite on the top floor enjoys a lounge, en-suite and king-size bed. Meanwhile, downstairs two queen bedrooms join a family bathroom, study, fully-equipped kitchen and living room—with a wood-burning fireplace!
Pure cotton, linen and four pillow types dress all the electrically warmed and pocket sprung beds. Additionally, cotton velour robes, deep pile toweling and Australian-made Hunter amenities provide luxury in both bathrooms.
Entertainment is at your fingertips with two Smart TVs and a Sonos sound system. A PS4 cures restless thumbs, and Wi-Fi throughout the cottage allows for emails, Netflix and anything you can cast from your phone. Catering to old-school tastes with an eclectic selection of books, DVDs and vinyl records, fun can be had by a variety of guests at Spindrift.
Guests are welcomed with a selection of cheeses and cocktail snacks, a local bottle of wine and even breakfast ingredients to use during their stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful long weekend. Location was great, very private and great to relax. Andrew was great with communication and met us on arrival to show us around and provide us with helpful information. Loved the fire place and sitting with the chickens who are very friendly. We received a very generous food hamper for our stay, including lovely local items. You have the opportunity to stay on the property and explore which we did aswell as visiting the local town. Thankyou for having us and we look forward to returning in the future.

Summary: Spindrift is set in beautiful, peaceful countryside surrounds with stunning views from every window. You can feel your batteries re-charging as soon as you step outside. The house itself is beautifully styled and has everything you need, as well as some very thoughtful touches for the grown-ups, the kids and any furry friends. Andrew was a caring host and we are looking forward to coming back again one day.

Summary: Fantastic place to come and relax. We and the dogs were warmly welcomed, left delicious treats and had a fire waiting upon arrival. Great outdoor areas, including a huge firepit, chicken and bird feeding a highlight! Exceptionally comfortable beds and hammocks on the outdoor deck. Highly recommend!

Summary: The ideal location for a quick weekend getaway. Easy commute from Canberra after work on Friday, and a pleasant drive to Braidwood or Bungendore. The cottage is well-equipped, warm and comfortable. The view is amazing, and the hosts are so helpful. We can't wait to visit again.
