Summary: My sister and I came down for a beach weekend and shopping. The location was great for both. 10 minutes to Manhattan beach, great shopping options and we also had multiple good food options.

Summary: The front desk people were extremely helpful. Apparently the entire property is going through a renovation and some units have been renovated and some have not yet. Our first unit smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I asked for a different unit and they happily relocated us and our second unit was fantastic for our needs. There is no smell. Everything was clean. The front desk people were consistently kind and helpful whenever we had a need. The only reason I didn’t rate the communication with the hotel manager higher was because we booked on VRBO. I emailed a question about the time for breakfast and it took over a month to hear a response. Also, when trying to reach out to ask some other detailed questions, it was difficult to speak to people who work at this this specific property , When you call the number, you don’t necessarily talk to somebody who knows anything specific about that particular location. Other than that once we arrived, it suited our knees. An affordable and comfortable place to stay during the event we were in the area for. It’s about 15 minutes from the beach, in an industrial part of town but the grounds are nice once you’re on the property. We are coming back for another event and will stay here again. Great to have a kitchen and a small apartment feel in their little one bedroom.

Summary: ~ Absolutely would not let us check in until 4:00. $35 fee when we arrived @ 3:10. So we waited ~ The first room we were given had such a bad smell (pet room) I almost gagged ~ Second room was good. But they were power washing all the wall and windows. Next day was loud again with the gardening. ~ The daily breakfast was mediocre. The area was way too small for the number a patrons trying to eat. Too crowed and had to wait to sit down. And with that, sat at a table with a strangers.

Summary: Room was clean, but furniture is old, worn, and looks diry. The bed was clean and comffy, towels were soft and fluffy. They are in the middle of renovation. Not ready very close to anything.
