Positive: The best is the ambient, the host is fantastic a very good person! He treats you as you are is family. He knows English and communication is easy by WhatsApp before coming there. It is a new house, very clean, bed are confortable. There is a big couch in the communal part, it is nice to socialize. The kitchen is well equiped and there is a fridge and a table. There is hot water!! And toilets are also clean. I loved the location it is near supermarket in a very nice area of UB! It is easy to come by public transport or taxi. Just 5 min walking from lot of buses. Very near activities, restaurants, stadium, museum, gym!!

Negative: Everything was perfect

Summary: The best place to stay in Ulaanbaatar! Family hostal clean and very well located!

Positive: The staff were amazing, great guide! The whole trip was perfect, we did a Gobi Desert trip and they care for all the details, great accommodations and visit in the desert and the real nomad life.

Positive: Uka and his family and staff are kind, warm, and very helpful. They will do everything to make your stay in UB memorable. Uka is a knowledgeable tour guide and went out of his way to arrange great and affordable tours for me. Staying with them feels like being part of a family.

Negative: The facilities may not be what you are expecting, but they're comfortable and clean.

Positive: location: it is close to a supermarket and a grocery shop. if you walk for 15mins, you will reach the department store; around 30 mins, you can also access more tourist attractions like Chinggis Khan National Museum, Sukhbaatar Square. To me, it is convenient. service: The host helped me a lot with currency exchange and sim card. He also provides tours. He explained to me the stories of places I've been to me well and showed me something local which was what I expected. He arranged me a rich and. Everything is very flexible, most of my trips were scheduled a day before. Of course, it'll be more secure if you reserve everything earlier. The family was really nice.

Negative: For those who are sensitive to noise, you may need earplugs sometimes at night since it is a guesthouse. But to me, since I had trips every day, I could sleep well.

Positive: I loved that the host and host's family were incredibly caring and made sure I didn't want for anything! They showed me how to get around the city and help me to sign up for tours easily and cheaply. It was basically like I had become a part of their family!

Negative: I didn't like that I only stayed for two weeks when I should have stayed for three...

Positive: Uka and his wife are very kind. Uka is an amazing guide and really watches out for you as a guest and tourist to make sure you are safe and have a good experience in Mongolia. He’s a wonderful cook and has many years of experience in tourism. I met nice people through the hostel and during the tour I booked with Gobi-Zen. Recommended if you are an adventurous traveler who can go with the flow. ;)
