Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location very close to the main square, very friendly team, comfortable beds, and they keep your luggage for you for free in a locked room if you do the Quilotoa loop. They suggest you can leave a tip for the staff instead which we thought was nice :)
Negative: We stayed in two different rooms (before and after the Quilotoa loop). One had a bit of mould in the bathroom and could use a touch-up.
Summary: Very good option in Latacunga

Positive: Clean, thick bed covers to beat the Sierra cold, super nice and helpful staff. Location is hard to beat and the old colonial building is gorgeous! It has two hot water tea stations day round, and a nice lounge room with couches and a few games to connect with other travelers, or just spend some time outside your room. Would definitely recommend!!
