The Retreat House is a Luxury Log Home, located in the historical Village of Good Hart, Michigan. Conveniently located 1/2 mile North of the Good Hart General Store, Primitive Images and A Studio! It features 4+ bedrooms. Guests will experience a home away from home, a fully equipped work-out room, coupled with a Concierge Service helping to facilitate guests in creating their own personalized vacation.
This gorgeous 2900 Sq. Ft. Log home has a wrap around porch with beautiful sunset views of Lake Michigan. Walk or bike to the Good Hart beaches and to the Shops in the quaint, Village of Good Hart.
Home has 4-bedroom/3bathroom with additional loft space and lower level den, main level Great Room, featuring a 3 story fireplace. Four suites have Queen beds. Main Level Suite has attached bathrooms. Upper Level Suites and Lower Level Suite have detached bathroom. Loft has 2 twin platform beds that make for a cozy TV viewing room, with a large screen TV, DVD/VCR. Wi-Fi. Lower-level den features a queen Sofabed and gaming table. (Sleeps up to 12)
Rooms are personalized with robes, slippers, linens, hairdryer and toiletries.
Full-Service Kitchen, dining room, Great Room, two wood fireplaces, laundry room, library, hot-tub, gas-grill, fire pit and comfortable seating, beautiful grounds with serene landscaping. Perfect for entertaining. Family and Dog Friendly.

Summary: Nice property with a neat path to a small beach and a very big hot tub. Owner is very responsive and the house was clean and had a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Sleeping with three families was a little difficult because of the way the sleeping areas are set up, but overall a fun and pretty place to stay.

Summary: We just stayed at Good Hart Retreat and it was wonderful!! We had three families together for a reunion and this place was just right for everyone. There is plenty of room for families to have their own personal space in the lovely house right near Lake Michigan. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The kitchen has all of the cooking utensils needed to make cooking very easy too. There are so many things to do within easy walk or drive. We spent many days on the beaches nearby and within driving distance, spent time in downtown Harbor Springs, relaxed on the beautiful porch, and the kids even hit the ORV trails. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to spend there! Our whole family enjoyed their stay and would go back again.

Summary: We vacation every year for my daughter's birthday.. And we decided to reserve this amazing house! And boy Oh boy were we in for a treat. This house was amazing!!!! Enough space, and something for everyone and the sunsets OMG! The home and grounds were clean a spacious. I can not express how grateful I am. Thank you for having us we appreciate it more than you know 😍

Summary: What an amazing stay - from dealing with Nancy and her staff to the Retreat itself - Great area lots of Nature to see - deer every morning / evening in the field/woods across the street to the beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets out the back windows / decks. The 3-story Fireplace as well as rest of decor made for a cozy stay & nice place to gather / relax for the whole family after spending the days outside - The local area has lots to offer from 20 minutes North your in remote Sturgeon Bay area OR head South 20 minutes your in Harbor Sorings / Petosky for shopping - beaches - very Good food (Sam Graces, Pond Hill Farms & Petosky Brewery were a few we tried and ALL enjoyed) ! What’s nice about the retreat is you could stay in and prepare food as it has full kitchen - Hot Tub was large & clean and was another great area of the house to relax !! We did not use the separate gym which is on the property and we watched very little TV during our stay but WE did watch the Fire listened to the Radio and spend a lot of time outside enjoying what Good Hart and surrounding areas had to offer. As well as ALL the Incredible Views !! Thanks again Nancy for everything Mike & Angie

Summary: We had ten family members of all ages staying at the house, and we all enjoyed it. The home is lovely and spacious. Nancy is a helpful and attentive owner, as are the caretakers. We had everything we needed for a memorable vacation.
