Summary: We are thankful to have beds for us and a fridge but didn’t realize that the Pool table is NOT there, the pinball machine, And the Ping Pong table was broken in a mildew filled room and the swimming pool was dirty. It was a great middle location for Everything Normandy!!

Summary: The chalet was spacious and well equiped. Unfortunately the Wifi was'nt working well and there was only French television. The area was nice and Normandië has a lot to see and to do.

Summary: We went here in April...the weather was...well April! Lots of rain and ever so changing. The trailer is in a camping park with lock gate access. It's got everything you would need. The kitchen is equipped and there are heaters to heat the place as it was still pretty cold.The one thing that was not ok...no internet! The lady with the keys doesn't speak any english but she was very nice. She gave us a code for the internet which didn't work on any of our devises (computer,IPAD etc....) I was able to connect my Iphone but ! If you are one of those people that has to stay connected with work this is not the best idea of a place. My husband almost lost a trip because he couldn't access his work email and make his travel arrangements. We ask for some solution or a new code...no answer for 2 days and then no new code just...you are connected with wifi and there is only one devise that can be connected to it.... That was the bad part and it cost us extra and stole time away from the places to see.The marina has a few restaurants. Point du hoc is very close and the Rangers museum is in town. Everything else is within 20 min drive.

Summary: Our family (two adults and children aged 8 and 10) stayed here during the D-Day celebration. We had a fabulous vacation that was fun and educational. The chalet had everything we needed. It was clean and the community was quaint and quiet. It is a "family style" village, not for those who are looking for a party atmosphere. There is even a bread lady who drives through the village every morning selling baguettes and croissants. There is also a pool that the kids enjoyed. The cabin is small but very cozy. It is located just a couple of minutes drive from Omaha Beach, Pointe Du Hoc, and the American Military Cemetery. Utah Beach is about a 20 minute drive. The town of Grandcamp Maisy has restaurants, a grocery store, and a Saturday morning farmer's market at the dock where you can find vegetables, cidre, meat, and all kinds of seafood. Normandy is a wonderful place to visit!
