Summary: Enjoyed gorgeous sunrises while sipping coffee on the new dock. Updated, well loved cottage which would work well for a group but was very comfortable for just the 2 of us. Well appointed kitchen. Toaster/convection oven worked fine for us. We cooked most meals so we could eat on the deck and enjoy the lake view. Lake was rather quiet on a beautiful weather Sept weekend. Black Duck is lovely in Sept!

Summary: We were a group of 10 girlfriends in our 60’s. The house fit us comfortably. Plenty of room to visit, sleep and eat. The back patio and porch are wonderful and that is where we spent most of our time. View beautiful. We had a lovely time and would consider staying again.

Summary: This has become our family's favorite place to stay on the Lake. We had a small situation with one of the air conditioners upon check in, but the local person was able to handle it within an hour of us notifying him. Fantastic trip, yet again. Looking forward to possibly staying there again next year!

Summary: We had a lovely week at the Black Duck. The kids enjoyed swimming in the water and playing in the yard. We cooked meals and enjoyed our company, while we also appreciated our view of the water, the peaceful mornings and the sunsets.

Summary: We had a wonderful long weekend at the black duck!!!! We loved the large back deck and the views on the lake. We came in for a wedding and it was nice because the house was in walking distance of the Conneaut Hotel!!!! The house and the yard were spacious!!!! We would definitely rent again.

Summary: We have stayed at the Black Duck numerous times and we always have a wonderful time! The waterfront location is amazing. Renee is always right there to answer any questions or concerns we may have. We always have plenty of room to spread out in the house which is wonderful with kids! Summary: The children loved swimming in the water right off the deck. The neighbors were very friendly. The house was great for several families to spend some time together. We swam and spent a lot of time on the deck. It does get very hot in the summer sun. One of the upstairs A/C units stopped working, and we were able to get a replacement in the window the same day. Temperatures were near 90 degrees and the A/C was much needed. The "children's room" was warm but we were able to use fans and the window A/C to keep airflow moving. We hope to come back next summer.
