Watch orcas swim by as you enjoy your morning coffee on the large stone deck. Other great wildlife viewing includes seals, porpoises, otters, eagles, mink, deer. Gorgeous ocean views from all south-facing windows. 2 Queen beds, plus 2 Twin cots (with foam mattresses). Full bath has shower/tub combo. Fully equipped kitchen: fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, etc. Steps out the back door to the pebble beach. Kids will enjoy beach combing and exploring tidal pools full of starfish, hermit crabs, sea cucumbers and more! Large grassy lawns on 2 acre property great for kids. 5 minute drive to Poet's Cove Resort, with a full service spa, restaurants, pub, public swimming pool, playground. Rent a kayak or canoe on your own, or book a tour through Poet's Cove Marina. Beautiful Brooks Point Regional Park is just a short stroll along the beach, with some of the last remaining Garry Oak Meadow habitat in the Gulf Islands. It boasts views of Vancouver Island to the West, the San Juan Islands to the South and Mt. Baker to the East - a photographers dream!

Summary: The location was right on the low bank waterfront and we were fascinated watching the tides roll in and out. Wonderful water birds played out on the water and the host's binoculars were perfect. Lots of opportunities to get out and walk along the beaches, coves and out to the point with beautiful views. A lovely and unique location that is hard to match at such a reasonable price.

Summary: Tucked away in its own spot away from it all, yet just minutes to Poet's Cove Resort, this home is awesome! Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Just steps from the beach. From the deck or the living room, enjoy watching the surf, wildlife and cruise ships! Highly recommend.

Summary: This waterfront location is so beautiful and quiet. Enjoy nature from inside the cottage thru all the windows or outside from large comfy seating area. Walkable beach infront of the cottage or walk the rural roads to Brooks Point.the cottage is well stocked with everything you ma need.

Summary: This was the perfect family getaway. Our 4 YO loved being able to make multiple trips to the beach each day. We loved that we could still enjoy the views while our youngest was napping. The cottage had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Summary: We’ve stayed at amazing vacation rentals all of the world and this was our absolute favorite. We saw orcas, a humpback whale, seals, sea lions, otters, eagles, herons, and so much more just while relaxing on the back patio.

Summary: This property and location has what you are looking for. Do nothing, relax, read a book, walk the beach, watch the wildlife, nap in the sun. Do everything, bike, hike, golf, get out on the water. Eat in or eat out. Perfect!

Summary: We have stayed on various Gulf Island properties over the years and this spot is excellent! The view is spectacular and your a short beach walk away from the most beautiful park on the island and one of the nicest in the all the Gulf Islands. The host was very helpful, easy to work with and easy to communicate with. The property is well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with various sizes of pots and pans and other cookware, bowls, blender etc. It is really the best I have encountered for a while and made life much easier when cooking; with a view! The home was nice and clean and you can't beat the view from the living area and primary bedroom. Great water pressure in the shower, it was just a hit overall. There is a lot of local wildlife out front as well which is very entertaining. We didn't see the Orcas but were very lucky to see Humpbacks transiting through! Looking forward to the next visit.
