Fully handicapped accessible with elevator, come experience SeasToday custom built on beautiful East Beach on St. Simons Island, GA. SeasToday is located at the northeastern corner of Bruce Drive and 11th Street featuring the shortest walking access to the best beach on SSI. This eight bedroom, eight and one half bath architect's personal home was just completed in 2010 and will sleep 17 in beds plus pull outs. This home is large enough to spread out with your family or to be enjoyed simultaneously with other close family friends. Spacious covered porch with grill connects the 4 bedroom main house to the multilevel 2 bedroom+bunkroom guest wing.
As you enter the gated enclosed private outdoor courtyard you are immediately struck with the beauty of the original 100 year old oak tree left untouched in the center. There is a soothing water feature spilling into the 14 x 17 foot custom salt water heated pool and a covered all-weather 17 x 30 deck. Two outdoor showers help wash the sand away and a large sodded front yard is perfect for playing catch with the kids. There are two covered outdoor porches perfect for reading and socializing viewing sunset with cocktails on f the second floor.
The interior of the home is reminiscent of a rustic yet elegant custom low country beach home. The entrance foyer on the ground level features, antique pine beams, access to the garage , a powder room and a H/C accessible newly added bedroom w/ en suite bath plus the three stop luxury elevator. This home is completely handicap accessible with wide door ways, zero step entryways and the elevator.
The second floor of the main house has a private cozy octagonal den with full bath. It also features a pull out single bed. This room is perfect for reading or watching a tv program by yourself. It also features a desk for those times when work intrudes into your vacation. large full bath off the den complete with pull out love seat makes the den a relaxing haven. The 16 x 25 foot living room has painted wooden walls, ceiling and floors. It has a wood burning fireplace and a 55 inch flat screen smart tv. Bools line the rooms built-in shelving and games and puzzles are stored in cabinets.
The gourmet kitchen / dining room / keeping room comfortably seats eight at the dining table and four at the raised bar top. A long upholstered window seat, Viking stainless steel appliances and imported custom French cabinetry adorn the gourmet kitchen. The 15 x 20 foot covered porch off of the keeping room connects the main house to the bunk house. It is perfect for watching fall football games or enjoying evening cocktails.
The third floor of the main house has three bedrooms and three full baths. Two suites feature queen size beds and each bedroom has its own flat screen tv and walk in closet. One master suite has a handicap shower unit. The third bedroom has a king sized bed and a pack-in-play stored in the walk in closet. Each floor has its own heating and air system. A laundry room here and also one in the garage make for easy cleaning.
The bunk house is separate from the main house but attached via covered porch and features three bedrooms and three full baths. The upstairs bedroom/5 bed bunkroom doubles as second family room with a 42 inch flat screen tv and a large oversized leather couch. The bunkroom provides a great sanctuary for the kids of all ages. Two lower bedrooms feature a queen bed and two singles, respectively.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. We loved that every room had a bathroom and the kitchen was a comfortable meeting place for the extended family. We also loved that the house was only a block from the beach which was very pretty. Communication was great and checkin very easy and smooth. Definitely recommend for large family or group.

Summary: This spacious house is loaded with character. There was lost of room for our large party to all be together and plenty of spaces for smaller groups or individual privacy. We took the short walk to the beach several times for daytime play and nighttime stargazing. The kids loved the pool and the extra cost for heating it was well worth it. SSI is magical and East Beach is very relaxed. This was the perfect place for us.

Summary: Great house! There is plenty of room and it is beautifully decorated. Great location with a one minute walk to the beautiful beach. There is not a hot tub on the premise as mentioned. Maintenance was quick to respond to humidifier not working in one bedroom.
