Summary: The house was super clean and comfortable. We fell in love with the neighborhood and may return to look at real estate. This house is perched on a ridge. While it does not have summer lake views, the mountain views are gorgeous. We cooked meals there inside and grilled. We enjoyed the patio and watching the sunset. The firepit was also nice. We rented a boat and used the dock slip. The dock area was a bit tricky to find as there is not much signage and only roadside parking on a very narrow shoulder in the neighborhood. It’s about a mile from the house on a hilly road so you need to drive to the boat slip. The whole area is steep (not just this neighborhood dock) so be prepared to take a few flights of steps from the car to the boat. We found it easiest to stock the boat at the marina or pick up friends on the boat at the marina given poor parking and steep walk. But it worked out great! Thank you for the wonderful weekend away. We hope to be back!

Summary: This was a perfect getaway for our family. Our 19 yo daughter brought a college friend and they were able to run around town while my husband and I relaxed and watched the deer in the yard. We grilled out one night, rented a boat on the lake and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the setting is amazing. The area is in the hills, so if you like to walk be ready for that. We were able to walk with no problem at all. The boat dock is a drive and a hike down to the water's edge. The dock is not for hanging out on or laying out. There is a public lakeside beach area within 5-10min drive that is perfect. There are also a couple of swimming parks nearby. We were there over July 4th and the lake wasn't too crowded in the morning however by 2pm it was VERY crowded and we docked the boat for the day. We could hear fireworks from the house but could not see them. Marion is about a 10 min drive and they had a parade and fireworks that my daughter went to. I cannot say enough about them home and peaceful setting and Karen was amazing to work with and responds very quickly.

Summary: This house was perfect for our family. It had an amazing view of the mountains and a little bit of the lake. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. My kids loved seeing deer every day! Also the boat ship was great so we could bring along our boat with us. We will definitely be back!
