Summary: We was stressed when we arrived but totally relaxed as we leave. The House was cozy and in a peaceful area. Only nature pur one of the best places to relax. Summary: Our family was in the area for UF's Spring graduation and this house was ideal. It was exactly as pictured, very clean, and well-stocked. The location was great--not too far from campus, quiet and serene. We had a few questions during our stay and Christopher was very quick to respond. It was great weekend---thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Summary: Really nice indoor living. Very updated interior. Can’t beat the backyard view, dock and water. From fish to owls to gators to herons....place has it all. Sunsets were on point. Nice back patio for cocktails and cards.

Summary: This is the perfect home away from home tucked in the woods surrounding Lake Lochloosa. We enjoyed hiking adventures at nearby preserves and basking in beautiful sunsets on the lake. The home is pristine and clean with plenty of opportunities for relaxation inside and around the yard. The inside is fully furnished and the outside is fully fenced with a private dock. 30 minutes to Ocala and 30 minutes to Gainesville. Also be sure to check out Micanopy. Highly recommend this retreat and already looking forward to our next vacation here!

Summary: Loved unique cozy home with themed decor, large yard & gorgeous lake views! We didn't enjoy the BUGS, as giant thick spiders indoors frightened us, worried about them getting into luggage and beds, and cloud SWARMS prevented outdoor forays entirely. Owners did send notice & provided spray (maybe need TWO cans for the big spiders, who refused to die), but our sandaled feet got stained brown just walking in the grass to car. Suggest more pavers from parking for rolled luggage, and we did abide by the no-shoes rule inside. TV in every room! But satellite internet was bad, so Apple TV w/apps hung constantly; our fave 1-hr show took 2 hours and we couldn't get music to play, so gave up on TV. Appreciated labels on light switches and storage. Thoughtful touches: framed wifi password and basket of washcloths. Need outlets/extension strip by bed for phones, and bedroom wastebaskets. Couldn't find a trash bin for the kitchen, so do look in the laundry room; we hung a bag on a door handle during the day. There was coffee but not tea bags. Helpful manual with local menus, but no meal delivery there. Suggest adding a full-length mirror, i.e. for UF graduates, although there is a larger mirror in one room. Another room had 3 small mirrors but none at eye level. Bring your own tissues. Host was friendly and welcoming. We loved falling asleep to the idyllic sound of crickets and passing trains :) Rustic, but an unforgettable visit! Thank you
