Summary: This house truly was so much more than we were expecting. There was an additional bedroom with bunks that was very helpful and TONS of spaces not really highlighted on the listing. It was an amazing place! We had everything we needed and the host was responsive.

Summary: Perfect lake home for an extended family- parents with two adult children and their kids. The grandparents really appreciated the master bedroom, it was huge and down the hall so it felt like its own little apartment which gave them the privacy they liked. We brought our boat and the dock was really nice to park it and to spend afternoons. There were lots of toys to play with in the water, we enjoyed the inflatable stand up paddle boards. There were multiple places for our entire family to be able to sit and spend time together, the massive couch in the main level, all the seating in the movie room in the lower level and we enjoyed meals with a view in the dining room that had plenty of seating. The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with great proximity to downtown Clarksville. We also appreciated the stocked towels (even designated lake ones) and kitchen. The pool table, shuffleboard, and large connect 4 provided hours of entertainment for the whole family when we were indoors. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation in this home and would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This was our second year staying at the lake house. We absolutely love it. The floating picnic table and jacuzzi were both new this year. And we definitely made good use of both! Seeing as how we stay here and go to Blue Ridge Rock Fest each year and it got cancelled this year, we had PLENTY of time to enjoy everything the house had to offer. The hot tub was definitely the spot to be this year because the weather was nice and cool. We cooked family dinners, watched movies in the cinema room, and really just enjoyed each others company overall. We love the lake house. It’s our home away from him. We’ll be back!

Summary: This was our 2nd visit to Barefoot Retreat and we will definitely be back. The host is simply amazing. Super responsive and provides wonderful little touches around the house to make your stay super relaxing. The lake is simply beautiful, the dock has a very nice cover, host provides so many fun amenities both indoor and out. The only problem is time goes by so fast when you are having so much fun! Can't wait to return.

Summary: The Barefoot Retreat and hosts were fabulous. This place had it all - welcoming, spacious and beautiful. The lake is secluded and quiet. When it was too hot, the game room provided ample entertainment. Two full kitchens was nice as well when your cooking for 14. Do your self a favor and book the Barefoot Retreat.

Summary: Beautiful home and very scenic environment! Everything you could possibly want at your fingertips! House was well stocked with everything from toiletries, to amusement, to cleaning items, spices and many snacks! House was very spacious and large enough that 9 of us were not on top of each other! Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us! Great time was had by all! Management was tops and answered our needs very quickly! We will probably rent it again!

Summary: We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary with our family. This house was perfect in every way! The recreational options were unreal! We had so much to do! The owner was so helpful, made sure our stay was wonderful, and provided a house that fit our family perfectly! We loved our weekend so much!
