Three bedrooms, which includes two nice new large Tempur-pedic beds with a 2 bath home sleeps 7-8. Privacy, relaxation, focus on healthy living, and a great location are the priorities of this meticulously well-kept home. Surround yourself in nature and relax with an abundance of fresh air, water and air purifiers, salt lamps, along with two screened decks, one open deck, and a four-season sunroom equipped with a TV and a gas wood stove in the winter.
Ceiling fans are in all rooms, (and air conditioning for the occasional heatwave), open kitchen, dining, and living room with piano under a cathedral ceiling. The fully equipped modern kitchen includes granite counters with a granite island and breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, a Vita-mix for a yummy smoothie, and a screened-in breakfast deck. The dining room table has two additional leaves for extra guests.
Surrounding maple trees keep the air fresh and make the need for curtains minimal. Oak and bamboo floors, organic spices and teas, condiments, organic cleaning supplies, a recycling center, kitchen and shower filters, and an organic veggie garden all contribute to keeping everyone clean, green, and healthy!
Kid and pet-friendly amenities include an outdoor basketball hoop, playhouse, swing, and large sandbox, as well as a backyard with lots of trees and fort opportunities. The back deck includes a medium doggie door, and a gate to keep children and pets safe.
Walk down the street to the playground, lighted tennis courts, and playing fields, or explore 'Peter's Cave and bring the dog. A short stroll brings you to beautiful downtown Lee with its newly renovated Main Street, Art Gallery, and The Starving Artist Organic Cafe owned by our daughter.
The main floor of the house is upstairs and includes 3 bedrooms, a four-season sunroom, and 2 baths. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with a TV, shower, a king-size Tempurpedic mattress with organic linens, and a screened-in deck facing a quiet, wooded backyard.
The second bedroom consists of a queen-size bed with bookcases, a TV, and plenty of games to keep everyone occupied all night! Across the hall is the second bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi bathtub.
The third bedroom has an option of a single bed, a single bed and a crib, two single beds, or a king-size bed.
The sunroom has a comfortable queen-sized sofa bed, a gas wood stove, a 50 inch Smart TV with a DVD player, and a large deck off the back.
Downstairs consists of a fully stocked laundry room and a separate apartment where a happily retired geezer and his wife, (whoops, that's us!) occasionally reside when not traveling the world. We are committed to ensuring that you experience an amazing trip to the Berkshires while respecting your privacy at all times!
Don't forget there is plenty of action in the winter with 4 ski resorts in the area! Bousquet Mountain and Butternut Ski Resorts are both around 10 miles in opposite directions. Catamount Ski Area is on the nearby New York border about 20 miles south of us while Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is 20 miles toward Williamstown on Route 7.
We also have plenty of sledding opportunities after a fresh snowfall!

Summary: This was our second stay at Linda and Doug’s home. We were delighted to find it decorated for the holidays when we arrived. The kitchen is fully provisioned, and (bonus!) there are toys, games, and a sandbox to keep youngsters entertained. They are gracious and responsive hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay.

Summary: Easy check in. Lynda is great. I’ve never seen a quick kitchen so well stocked. It had every appliance and inconvenience you could possibly need. Very comfortable for all 4 of us. It felt very private in spite of being so close to town.

Summary: We really loved our stay. This was only our second time away from home for Christmas and Linda and Doug made the house so welcoming for us, with a Christmas tree and lights throughout. The house was cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect.

Summary: Linda was a gracious hostess, our home away from home was everything that it was advertised to be and everything we needed while visiting the Berkshire area. Linda had fresh coffee beans for us, beautiful fresh flowers and fresh fruit plus everything else we might have needed over our stay!
