Rhinebeck House | Gorgeous Town-and-Country Victorian, the New Landmark in Town

5 Bedroom House in Rhinebeck

Within brisk-strolling distance to shops and coffee houses, this property is a small paradise with the LandsMan Kill Creek, a bridge for fishing or daydreaming and a pond covered with water lilies that Monet would have appreciated. The house is newly renovated with a beautiful chef's kitchen, three and a half baths, including a dramatic light filled master bathroom, with freestanding soaking tub that overlooks the pool, and a day-lit basement with a piano and television. Centrally air conditioned and heated, all amenities.
Two king beds, three queens, two queen futons in the basement as well as a pull out bed in the living room sofa.
Porches, garden furniture. A fairy tale bridge of the stream leads to a hidden pond.
Surrounded by farmland and with a gorgeous, private in-ground pool, this is an idyllic property to reconnect with friends or family. Take a walk down to the pond or bike to town, or simply lay poolside while taking in some sun. All of our lawns are treated with tick repellent to promote a safe environment. The hot tub is up and running right off of the kitchen on the main floor. There's a heated/airconditioned studio with a ping pong table, an octane cross trainer, newly felted 9 foot pool table and a lounge area for the adults.
Five bedrooms and three and a half baths, along with some unusual details and an open floor plan, make this the perfect place to gather with friends and family or leave some or most of them behind and decompress.
We treat all lawns surrounding the house and pool against ticks.

Summary: This house had everything you could want in a vacation home. 5 beautiful bedrooms, a large living space, separate game room, and a hot tub. Generously appointed with spices, coffee, tea, and other amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, we lacked for nothing. Had a great time.

Summary: This house was so great - a truly charming old farm house with lovely updates. The property is so beautiful and would be great for a group. We were there for a short weekend of exploring the area, but it would be a great house for a family or group to just settle in and play. The amenities were top of the line and it is definitely the best “stocked” house I have stayed in. This house has everything you need and want - great kitchen and baths, comfy beds and lots of toys for kids or adults —and SO close to charming Rheinbeck. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks for making our getaway so perfect.

Summary: We had a fabulous time staying here for the weekend with a group that included both adults and small children. The property is beautiful. We used the hot tub and the grill and the fire pit and the game room, and we cooked and played board games in the house. So many amenities and my guests reported that the beds were particularly comfortable.

Summary: I secured this lovely property for friends and family for a weekend in mid-June to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday, and what a time we had! The house is perfect for a group either with or without small children and dogs. While it's on a main road, it's not too busy that you don't feel safe if you want to walk or run into town (1.1 mi to Bread Alone). The barn is perfect for nighttime or rainy day games, and the pool area is well fenced and a great hang out spot. One thing to note about the pool is that there are no steps in which to get in and out--only a ladder, though one end is more shallow than the other. There is an awesome meadow on the property that's across the bridge and over the little stream that would be perfect for a game of something or to stretch your dogs (or kids!) legs. One big thing to note about Rhinebeck itself if you're traveling with a group of adults who want to go out at night... the town literally shuts down at 9pm. Only one open bar after 9 (Terrapin), so if you plan to get drinks after dinner, you're out of luck. It probably wouldn't have changed my choice about coming to the area, but it would have been good to know ahead of time. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Summary: What a terrific property for a bunch of former Camp Ramapo counselors celebrating the camp’s 100th anniversary. Outdoor pool, ping pong, pool table, fire pit.. all activities that we partook in. When not at camp. The house was exceptional to house our fine group comfortably and I have to say I’ve stayed at a lot of other properties and this house had the best amenities. They’ve really thought about their guests and needs. Manager was very prompt in answering all our questions and even went above and beyond by getting something I had asked about. If you are headed to Rhinebeck, this is THE house to stay at!!

Summary: We had a family getaway here to celebrate my Mother’s 70th birthday and this place did not disappoint! Tons of amenities and an awesome hang out space in the adjacent garage. Cute little creek nearby and lots of land to enjoy. Next time we need to stay longer to enjoy the space more, a quick weekend was not enough. Would highly recommend!

Summary: We were a group in town for NY Sheep and Wool and both house and location were amazing. Big and clean with a well stocked kitchen. We didn’t use all the extras like pool and hot tub and the barn with game/exercise equipment, as we didn’t have time, but it was fun to imagine we would! Gorgeous bathrooms, comfy beds and lots of space to spread out and hang. Would absolutely rent again.

Summary: This house is beautifully renovated with everything you could possibly need to prepare and serve fabulous meals for your friends and family. Plus the pool is clean and delightful, and the hot tub is refreshing. Then there's the barn with all the games. The property manager is extraordinary. She went above and beyond for us when we were missing an item, going out to purchase it and deliver it to the house. And she responds to inquiries within minutes. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my daughter's wedding in Kingston this weekend.
