Completely restored 1926 home in charming Camas. Just 15 minutes to Portland airport, 1 mile from adorable downtown with shops and dining, near trails and lake and easy access to Columbia River Gorge. Downtown Portland is just 30 minutes away. House is fully equipped for your stay and includes two outdoor patio areas, a dedicated work space, comfortable king bed in master, clawfoot tub and separate glass shower in master. Window bench seating in master, fun cubby for kids to play fort in basement with games for family, walking distance to park. Please note that house sits above a roundabout and there can be occasional traffic noise with unmuffled cars. Very large professional gas range for cooks and outdoor BBQ for use on the deck. We love pets and you're welcome to have your furry friends stay with you but number and breed needs to be confirmed before reservation. Even though VRBO list this as being able to sleep 10, it actually sleeps 9. 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Twin, and 1 Sofa/Bed.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mike and Annette’s. As a local family that was displaced for 10 days, we appreciated the homey feel that this house offered. The location was super, with easy access to downtown and the highway. The house was nicely cooled down by a/c and the size of the home allowed our family (and family dog) to spread out. We twice asked to extend our stay, and the hosts were very gracious and accomodating in allowing that. Thanks again!

Summary: Annette and Mike were so helpful. Our A/C went out and we needed a place to stay ASAP. They worked to arrange the property on short notice and still provided some welcome touches. We loved the location which seems perfect for travelers as it is right off the freeway but distant enough to buffer from noise. The three levels were spacious and well designed with probably the most comfortable master bedroom bed that we've slept on during our various stays. I recommend highly.

Summary: This beautiful home went beyond our expectations! We were thrilled so spacious for all the families The younger generation stayed downstairs, the parents each had their own space on main floor and the the matriarch and patriarch slept wonderfully in the grand suite on 2nd floor! The kitchen was amazing as we are all cooks and foodies we took advantage of the amazing gas range and grill! There was an apple tree and peach tree full of fruit amd we even walked to an estate sale in the neighborhood! We loved every minute We would love to come again one day!!

Summary: We had a family wedding in Northwest Portland and wanted to stay in a small community outside of the city. Camas was delightful and this vintage home was just perfect for our family of siblings and spouses. Each room was very comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of thoughtful amenities. Annette was very responsive to any question we had and she even provided some breakfast food in the refrigerator was very helpful! In addition, this home was only 20 minutes via Uber from the Portland airport. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed and hopefully you will be able to enjoy the delightful town of Camas about 1 mile away.

Summary: We all loved this home! The only reason I gave it a 4 on cleanliness is because we used the outside decks and they were not clean and cluttered with pots with dead plants. I would visit this home again. We had plenty of room and the amenities were great. My only suggestions would be to power wash the steps and decks and clean the outside of the windows. The kids especially enjoyed seeing the deer close up (old apple tree on property that attracted some deer).

Summary: This beautiful, quaint house is set in a super spot to get close to the roadways. It was very clean, very spacious, and had all of the amenities needed! We enjoyed the private spaces that we had tho we were a party of four. Downtown was also very nice and we were able to enjoy some down-home shopping. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Summary: Over the years, I've rented about a dozen properties on different websites and I think this one was the best I've had! The house is gorgeous (even better than the pictures!), everything was clean and the communication was great. Everything that we needed was included (enough silverware and plates, filters for the coffee machine, towels, etc.) and Annette even left us some gifts! I highly recommend this property.
