Summary: Enjoyed stay. Loved the screening of John Ford/John Wayne movies shot in Monument Valley. Including the cabin John Wayne stayed on the property during movie shoots. Enjoyed swimming in the heated pool when it was 5 degrees F outside.

Summary: Awesome view of Momiment Valley and nice salute to John Wayne! Room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony view of Moniment Valley. Restaurant (breakfast) service was outstanding and friendly with portions too big for us to eat.

Summary: My husband and I retired to Flagstaff and have been gradually getting to explore the area. We had a few days available and decided to go to Monument Valley, which we have driven through. Friends have stayed at the View, and while enthusiastic about their tours, said the food was terrible. So we chose Gouldings and so glad we did! Tour guide Henry was awesome, facility was wonderful, good delicious and even though it was cold, I am so glad we made the trip. Will recommend this resort to many friends.

Summary: Admittedly not many places to stay nearby but a great spot with brilliant views over Monument Valley, we loved watching the sun rise over the buttes! Restaurant classic Navajo fare, small supermarket on site was helpful
