Positive: Staff were friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Rooms had good soundproofing WiFi was good A/C works
Negative: They are currently renovating the Property. Whilst most/all(?) of the rooms have been renovated, the reception area and hallways are yet to be finished. Construction is continuing on the floor above, so during the day there is construction noise going on. The fridge in my room was noisy. The hot water was barely luke-warm for a number of days. Only 3 hazy/snowy TV channels - local TV. Unable to hook TV up to streaming services and unable to access USB/HDMI ports due TV mounting. TV supports screen mirroring from phone, but picture and sound where both delayed making it unwatchable. TV has a Chinese streaming service, however you need to sign up but the service does not allow you to use a AU mobile number for authentication.
Summary: Might be better once all the renos are complete, hot water fixed, etc.

Positive: Modern, clean and well appointed rooms. As good as the photos. Wide modern hallways. Rooms were really well cleaned each day. We enjoyed our view of the rugby grounds, and loved hearing the singing faintly after practice. We looked forward to the breakfast which was different every morning and always tasted good even though it was very not what we are used to. The cake and fruit was lovely - but so was the savoury parts. Staff were consistently helpful. Room amenities were good, right down to a small shaving cream - a product we could not buy anywhere in Honiara. The Chinese restaurant downstairs is fantastic - not a conventional experience but just go with it - the food is great, and it may look empty but there is rooms full of people off to the sides! There is also a resort across the road if you wish to each there and 2 excellent cafes in town - about 400m walk. The beds were excellent - I haven’t slept that soundly in years.
Negative: There is a lot of construction on the road outside and even in the foyer - it worried me beforehand but after being in Honiara for 10 days prior we had adjusted to this being normal and it made no difference at all. The balconies are weird with the rooms offset from the building shape - but they just need finishing off. This didn’t impact our stay.
Summary: Recommended - as good as the photos. Excellent value, clean, safe and modern rooms - perfect for a business trip.

Positive: Great and welcoming staff! Very kind just like everyone in the Solomons!
Negative: Noisy due to isolation issues. The hygiene needs an upgrade, especially in terms of sheets and bathroom.
