Summary: Room was not well cleaned. Food between the bed and the night stand, hair on the inside of the shower. In room fridge didn’t work.

Summary: From the minute we checked in, things seemed to move downhill. Simply put, the service was terrible. At check-in, we were greated by Darnell. Fine enough check-in. Valet was great, extremely helpful. Fast-forward 5 minutes to our arrival in our room - Room 322. Ugh! Worst.Room. Ever. The beds looked strange....literally a step above a sleeping bag on the floor. Even worse, the outside temperature was 92F, and our room was holding steady at 77F. We set the temperature to 70F, but after 10 minutes, we became suspicious that the air was not working. My wife went down to talk to Darnell at the front desk. He "called" engineering to come to our room. After 20 minutes, the room temperature increased to around 79F....no engineering. This time, I went down to talk to the front desk, Darnell, to find out what was going out. He said, "I don't think engineering is going to come to your room." Well, it is a Sunday (5PM) so....... Darnell offered to move us to another room - Room 727. What an upgrade. And the temperature, a nice 71F. Perfect. So, for all you folks that find yourself at check-in on the 3rd floor....demand something that is less 'brokedown palace" and more in-line with what a typical hotel room should be like. Now, let's fast forward 10 minutes as we are all getting showered after a NINE HOUR DRIVE TO EAST LANSING....and we find out that the handy-dandy dispensers in the shower are all empty. Body soap...empty. Shampoo....empty. Conditioner...now why in the world woud you n

Summary: Was here for four nights while meeting colleagues at MSU. The graduate is conveniently located to walk around campus and dine around "downtown" East Lansing. Breakfast (not included) was good. Parking was valet only. Very nice rooms, and friendly, efficient staff.

Summary: We decided to treat ourselves to a stay over the July 4th weekend near our famliy in Lansing... I was really drawn by the location and amenities of the hotel. Unfortunately the in hotel coffee shop was closed on Saturday, July 4th, as well as the rooftop where we were hoping to relax after the day with family. I totally understand giving Team Members a break over the holiday with the local coffee shops, yet with the hotel industry being open daily, was hoping they'd offer more over this holiday weekend. Still do love the concept and design of the Graduate Hotels in general.

Summary: Have stayed here before and it’s been great. This time however, checked in to dirty room, crumbs in sheets, personal belongings to previous guests still in room! When I told reception, they promised to have room cleaned and one night refunded. They didn’t. Came back to dirty room with only half the towels replaced. No toilet paper, garbage still full, beds not made (so same dirty sheets!!). Also the TV didn’t work. Reception brought us towels and didn’t acknowledge that room was still a mess. No apology, so we got to stay in dirty room again. I even showed them photos!
