4 Bedroom House in Compton

We are located 1 mile off HWY 43 for an awesome view of our farm, gorgeous evening Sunsets, beautiful Ponca hills and valleys. Hike 1 mile through an old road to Center Point Trail Head, to Big Bluff, Hemmed in Hollow and Buffalo River. 4 miles to Boxley Valley with river access and Lost Valley park where the Elk Roam. Short distance to Hawksbill Craig, Glory Hole, Low Gap Cafe, and Historic town of Jasper. This Retreat has large dining, sitting areas with 3 bedrooms and full bath that have walk through areas. Privacy curtains are provided in areas needed. The trundle beds with pull outs are located in a common area. It is all spacious and relaxing for your family get aways. The screened in deck is a very family friendly area, where smoking is allowed. We have an outside firepit and picnic area with Gas and Charcoal grills, tables with seating. Keypad entrance. Host will be available for any short order needs or directions of interest. Outside deck has large sitting area to enjoy the view with your coffee, or the Evening Sunset. Cable TV with a library of VCR and DVD movies is available. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove, double ovens, refrigerator with ice maker as well as amineties listed. This Retreat is 2000 sq. Ft. Plus large deck Located on the lower level of this home with private entrance and 12 ft. Ceilings. Summary: Our group of ten Golden Girls (ages 67-81) had a GREAT stay with GrammaK in Ponca ! It served well for our ECLIPSE viewing, no crowds, great views and Kay even served cake and ice cream after the eclipse! We invited her to share her Ponca story with us all. As s native she knew everything about this beautiful ! Day trips to Mountain View and Branson (Queen Esther was wonderful! ) Definitely worth the one hour drive and the. $$$! Looking forward to visiting GrammaK’s again! You won’t regret a decision to book this beautiful ptoperty!

Summary: We loved this place. The view was fabulous and the screened in porch was second to none. Place was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. It was very clean and we felt right at home. The bedrooms were not the most private I’ve seen (curtains instead of doors) but it didn’t bother us. Kaye was super helpful in making sure we had the right channel to watch the razorbacks. This was our annual trip to see the elk and we have found our new spot to stay. The elk were less than 5 mile away. Before we left we went ahead and booked for next year. You won’t go wrong booking with Kaye!!!

Summary: The property was beautiful not only the inside but the outside porch was amazing! We even got to continue to enjoy being outside while we had a small storm roll in and enough space for the kids to run and play and not be inside until it passed. The owners were so nice and friendly and made it very clear that they are there if anything was needed but our privacy was very much important to them!

Summary: We had a good stay. Close proximity to Buffalo Outdoor Center which is who we booked a canoe float with. Plenty of beds for a good size group. Great view.

Summary: Outstanding! Google maps so you know your location and get a feel for the area. Excellent day hikes and beautiful fall scenery. Home is very grand with all the amenities. Screened in porch with the view was an added bonus. Bring all food and drinks to thoroughly enjoy your time in this little piece of heaven.

Summary: I can’t say enough about this location. It wasn’t easy to find, but one you do, it is amazing. The house was clean and very well done; it is large and would be a great place for a large family. The porch? Well I want one! The porch had wonderful views and lots of comfortable seating. The only drawback to the whole stay is that I didn’t have a longer reservation to enjoy it! It will be a top choice for future stays in the area. Kaye was a wonderful host. We were late arriving and had some trouble finding it in the dark. Kaye came out and met us and led us to the house. Her willingness to do this and the friendly manner in which it was done was enough to rate her as THE top host! We also texted her about restaurants in the area and she was always very responsive and helpful. Gramma K, - you are the BEST!
