Positive: The old world feel and impeccable renovations to its original look made the stay exceptional! It was like stepping back in time and experiencing history! The pool and beach club feel were in keeping with the style and elevated the atmosphere too!
Negative: Wish there were two full restaurants on site.

Positive: Vibe is nice but got a bit crowded and was too busy. The staff is not as friendly as in the past
Negative: Price - very high. Our room was also supposed to be ocean view but was roof view.
Summary: Was pleasant but a bit overpriced for what you get

Positive: The hotel is gorgeous on the outside and the lobby is divine. Smells so good in the lobby. I asked what they used. The front desk provided the information. Everyone was friendly, the rooms were nice , but would not say over the top for what is cost per night. Love the history of the hotel pool area was nice. They also have a private beach across street but we didn’t have time to go there.
Negative: First our a/c was out. called front desk and engineering came to room and was able to get it working again but recommended we see if we could be moved. So at around 11:00 pm was through our stuff together and moved . The bathroom shower was not as nice and the first room and the bath towels were small and thin.. some were frayed at the end and second room did not have a fridge like the other room,but was considered an upgrade because it had partial view of water and pool. One wall was all mirror which seemed old and dated. The other room had fabric wallpaper. Marriott needs to do better.
Summary: Splurged because it was my birthday and Hotel is gorgeous. Will return to
