Summary: Loved this place! The location is perfect and the surrounding views are incredible. The gym/fitness centre was fitted out really well with lots of equipment options. The breakfast was really good as well - plenty of fresh options. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Would absolutely return.

Summary: Great location. Mixed help at the front desk. Comforter too heavy for 24C. Wished we had a refrigerator in the room. Ice bucket didn’t keep pop very cold. Not a lot of choice for accommodation in Andalsnes.

Summary: The Grand Hotel was one of my favorite hotels in Norway. The staff members were all friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean and sufficient. The breakfast was wonderful, and I enjoyed a wide variety of hot and cold items. I am grateful for that! The hotel is very close to the train station and is located downtown, right beside the cable car. Everything is within walking distance, including a couple of food markets and a gas station. There is also a small gym in the hotel. I enjoyed the historical photos on each floor, telling the story of the hotel and its guests. I would absolutely stay here again!
