Positive: Hotel wonderful unfortunately the Restaurant was closed over our three day stay ...due to being a Bank Holiday and then a Sunday (on the one day Saturday we did not appreciate the Menu that evening.)

Negative: See above ! Disapointing for us. The weather was blowing a "Vent Foux" a wind which lasted over our three days ( sometimes it can blow for 5 or 7 days at a time...hard to walk and remain upright !

Summary: It was a Nostalgic Visit to Castres as we had once lived there some years before BREXIT ...

Positive: Very charming, very helpful staff. Newly refurbished. Great restaurant and good breakfast.

Negative: Why is there body lotion in the shower where the shampoo should be? Just body lotion and body wash. Why put body lotion in the shower?

Positive: A Grand hotel in every sense of the word. Professional staff, immaculate condition and perfectly located for visiting Castres.

Negative: Shame there is no minibar fridge in the room. We would have enjoyed cold drinks after a hot afternoon sightseeing.
