Summary: Checked in on a Sunday where most places are closed. The reception wasn't proactive in providing helpful info regarding places to go and see or places to eat. The hotel had a minimal menu which made it difficult for a solo traveller as all dishes were for sharing and I was forced to eat in my room as the dining room was not open on Sunday and did not have the option to eat in the lounge or in the garden. Their inclusive breakfast and dinner on my next day was definitely 5 stars. I had just booked a tour where I had to find my way to the pickup spot over 30 mins away to walk. I later find out that the hotel could have done the booking with pickup at the hotel. For a 5 star hotel, it would have been helpful if upon my booking, they would have reached out to tell me they could help with any tour bookings. Also a day or two prior to my arrival, an email with directions to the hotel whether driving or from the train station would have been helpful as there was no assistance available at the train station on which bus to take. When I provided this feedback to the receptionist upon arrival, she said I could have called which means I should incur long distance charges when this is information all the other hotels I stayed along my journey did and they were lower rated hotels but in my opinion provided the best experience. The service should match the opulence of the hotel.

Summary: Incredibly beautiful hotel with 6-meter-high ceilings; the hotel is very impressive. Unfortunately, it was understaffed. For example, at breakfast, there was only one waiter, and they had an à la carte breakfast, so it worked very poorly, even though she did her best. We ate at the hotel in the evening; the food was really good, but unfortunately, the waiter didn’t speak a word of English, and we had a six-course menu, but he couldn’t say a word about what we were served. The air conditioning couldn’t keep up in the room at all, so it was hot.

Summary: A former hospital restored to perfection, offering modern 5 star hotel service, including a truly luxurious breakfast. The grandeur of the restored building is impressive with up to 6 meter high room ceilings, nestled in its own quiet park like garden. I ended up staying four nights and recommend you try their dining restaurant which serves italian cuisine based on fine local produce. The Salumi was no less than execelent...

Summary: What an unexpected find! This hotel gives you the 5-star treatment. The decor and rooms are gorgeous and the food was wonderful (dinner and breakfast). But the best part was the helpful staff. So kind and accommodating. They made the stay feel like home. The hotel was within walking distance of Parma for me (the hotel arranged a taxi when my partner went). The grounds were nice but I would have liked to have seen a little more care and flowers, though we may have been out of season.

Summary: Beautiful modernized hotel in a quiet residential part of Parma. Our room was lovely and large with a beautifully appointed bathroom, extremely comfortable bed, and a door to a large rooftop balcony.

Summary: Great property with majestic decorations and very close for walking to everything. The staff was especially amazing, including Sofia, Maira, Sonia, and Eilyn. I will recommend to all friends and will definitely return.

Summary: Great property in an easily walkable (short walk) area to everything.. very clean - very helpful staff. Beautiful stately hotel- crisp linens and comfortable pillows. Huge double Shower . Would definitely book again..
