Summary: The hotel is very tired. Doesn’t appear to have seen any investment for years. Our room overlooked the road that runs in front of the hotel. It was very loud despite not being in use. You could clearly hear passers by talking when the windows were closed. The WiFi did not work. The roof terrace is open May to November, which was a shame. All of that said, the location is perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Summary: The location was perfect!! Breakfast was *the* best I’ve ever had included with a hotel stay. The bedding and sheets were clean, but the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. There was no air movement except when we opened the window, which we didn’t feel comfortable leaving open all night. The fridge wasn’t cold enough for our food.

Summary: The room was great and the location could not have been better! My friend and I ran the Pisa Marathon, and the start/finish line was so close to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious each morning! But most of all, the staff could not have been more helpful, from letting my friend borrow a charger to giving us directions back to the train station, they were always so pleasant and patient with our every need! I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Duomo to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in Pisa!

Summary: Outstanding traditional hotel within the city walls a few hundred meters from the tower and cathedral. The best view of them and the city was from the wonderful roof terrace. You can eat and drink up there too. Lots of excellent restaurants along the same street. Hard to find fault with this one.
