Summary: Fantastic location and good entertainment. Very poor tv reception- very limited channels available. I found one of the reception staff very unhelpful unfortunately.

Summary: We were there for 2days. No one bothered us and it was nice & quiet. Staff were friendly. However although inside the rooms were clean, the windows were very dirty. The rest of the hotel was very stuffy with no proper insulation and ventilation. It had very dusty smells which almost triggered my asthma whenever we left our room. The balcony was very dirty as well with broken metal rods and bird soils all around. We felt a bit unsafe to stand the balcony and this needs maintenance and cleaning. Other than everything else went smooth and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a very nice spot that is very accessible to most things we needed.

Summary: I booked two rooms. One room did not match the description. In room 408, the windows do not close, there is no shower gel, the water supply in the toilet is poor, and the room is designed for one person, not two. The room does not match the description, the level of service, or the price I was charged.

Summary: Beautiful hotel with lots of history. Room basic but clean. Hotel amenities brill and bingo and entertainment very good. Can't wait to stay again

Summary: Room was way too hot all night, room very basic and dark,lack of plug sockets and one was broken. Very noisy with doors banging and loud voices. Drinks poor quality and flat for the high cost. Poor cleaning standards in the gents toilets with toilet paper thrown onto the ceiling tiles. Over cooked breakfast with what appeared to be tinned mushrooms, and a poor set up no tea pots for tea had to make in the cup no milk on the tables really needs an overhaul. A hotel that needs more attention to detail and a facelift to bring it up to a good basic standard. The company that owns it needs to realise that they are a custodian of a beautiful building and treat it as such. Shame when the views from the bar area are so nice.
