Summary: Lobby and communal areas were a little bit scruffy but they are having a refurb later in the year. My room was huge and amazing. Food was excellent. Crystal at reception was a ray of sunshine.

Summary: Great stay at Grand Lido (the adults-only au-naturel section of the Royalton Negril). Facilities were very good across the resort - Grand Lido guests can use the facilities of the (family-friendly) Royalton and the (adults only) Hideaway. Restaurants try to cater for food allergies, and they ALWAYS asked for allergy details when seating us. Staff were generally really friendly and tried to help when asked. The Grand Lido has its own exclusive pool and decking area for au-naturel bathing and sunbathing, and this faces west so it catches the sun from mid-morning and thru the afternoon. Food and drinks are available at the pool grill and bar, and staff provide aqua aerobics and other entertainment for guests at the pool. Grand Lido hotel guests can also use the pools at Hideaway (beaches and decking for sunbeds faces east so gets morning sun) and the Royalton (2 pools and a long stretch of beach). Excursions were available to book on site, and the spa offered massages and hydrotherapy. Tons of restaurant options from buffet to TexMex, Italian, Japanese, Seafood, BBQ, Food Truck, Sports Bar, etc. There’s no need or reason to leave the resort except to enjoy an excursion or two.

Summary: Celebrated our 10th anniversary at a beautiful resort with wonderful people. We'll definitely do this again, no special occasion necessary.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay. Security at the pool needs to come out from behind the bar area and check that folks are following the AN rules. Even after bringing it to someones attention they did not address the issue of some not being AN.

Summary: From the start there was no signage telling you which of the alleys to turn down so turned around several times and the correct one really did look like a service alleyway. I was in the "presidential suite". And the whole experience could be described as underwhelming. I paid $950 a night. Mostly for the private pool. It was cold and the jets didn't work. The phone didn't work. The room service menu is very limited and does not allow for any drinks outside of breakfast hours. So they sent someone to fix the pool and they sent someone to "fix" the phone and butler brought up juice for mixers but all that meant was constant interruptions the first night. The pool stayed warm for that night only then was cold the rest of the stay. The phone never did work right. Room service is included but very limited, takes a minimum of 45 minutes, was out of several things and never once got the order correct. We left the room one night to go to dinner, for my birthday. Nothing special. No presidential service, they tried to give us a crowded table in the middle of the room, drinks were slow to come, the food was mediocre and made my fiance sick so that was the end of the birthday night fun. Not that the restaurant even knew it was my birthday. The room was clean enough but all the corners were dirty many things old and worn and in ill repair. The jets on the jacuzzi inside only worked for a short time and wouldn't start up again. The second day was constant knocks at the door
