Summary: This place is very basic. They expect that you are there to do drugs and rip them off. It was just a place to rest my head for the night, but we will not come back. A prime example of “you get what you pay for

Summary: Yep, it was May 2025 WILDFIRE CRISIS WEEKEND with some 20,000 wildfire refugees in town. I didnt get to check out the nightclub/ gaming side of this hotel, but I did have dinner at the adjoining Filipino resturant, which was very good; tasty authentic meals there and very friendly staff. Ask them about the Karaoke nights!! The property appears to be very much in transition, they were having serious problems keeping the place staffed (general conditions in town seem to influence that) and the facilities still needed a little work. However the room was clean, bathroom spotless, and the airconditioner and fridge was working fine. All in all it was a perfectly servicable stay, and I needed that exact location to be in walking distance for a couple of things. Reasonably good value for money, if you need somewhere to stay out this side of town! Note there are no elevators and its two flights of stairs up to the rooms, so there's that. And keep in mind this is the industrial side of town, so not a lot to do after dark (unless you enjoy gambling and karaoke). I did see a BANDSTAND over on the bar side, so looks like some live music is an option too! :-)

Summary: We were not welcomed with courtesy. We did not have towels, face cloth or bath mat for the number of guest in the room. We did not have any coffee, tea or condiments yet we had the coffee machine we stayed tonight no surface was offered in between.

Summary: I like the convenience to where i needed to be, and close to fast food gas and convenience store. Facility not handicap accessible, coffee machines provided in room but no coffee, was told to use Tim Hortons, this makes it inconvenient and unsafe as I rise very early and had to leave the building to get coffee and because doors are locked it was difficult to get staff members attention to return and at one point had to call to be let in from the extreme cold because my knocking went unnoticed even though i informed the front desk where i was going and when i would return. I was traveling alone and felt vulnerable out in the cold and dark with no way to reenter the building. I need to travel to Winnipeg monthly and unfortunately for these reasons I'm probably needing to book with another Facility.

Summary: Was stared at and cat called whilst coming into my checkin process by some losers outside the bar. Gross. I was shocked when coming into this hotel as it was swarmed with drunk people mid day and it was very uncomfortable. My room smelt of cigarette, weed and the smell is just covered up with strong disinfectant. The check in process was pretty.. strange. No one was very friendly, and it seemed only one of the 2 people knew how to check in someone. The hotel really threw off my trip, but this is for anyone else unfamiliar with Winnipeg, this is an extremely unsafe area. I can see now why the rates are as low as they are.
