Summary: The cottage was in a beautiful location, very quiet and very few people passed by. We saw more donkeys than humans! On the map it looked like you could walk to restaurants, but you really need a golf cart. We purposely avoided the cruise ship days, but that means very few places were open. The owners were very responsive about a few issues. We would have benefited from an owners guide on where to swim and snorkel off the beach, grocery store, restaurant suggestions, just a few basics. And we wish there had been beach chairs, a small cooler, an umbrella, snorkel, fins etc. to enjoy the spectacular waterfront. There were beach towels and a comfy couch on the porch and a long undeveloped beach to walk on.

Summary: Really need to have an information sheet at the cottage listing open restaurants, taxi, golf cart, grocery stores, etc. we had to ask around for everything. It was obvious to us that Covid had a huge negative affect on the available services. It will be slow returning to pre Covid levels.

Summary: My wife and I visited Grand Turk for 2 weeks in January of 2022. We were looking for a quiet getaway on a beach and found the 1 Bed, Sea Biscuit cottage perfect for our needs. Only 15 steps from the cottage, one can walk Pillory Beach each way and found the beach with few people and mostly private. We were able to swim and snorkel everyday, watch donkeys, bird life, and a whale spouting all from the property. One of our favorite highlights was to sit out on the screened porch having morning coffee and again toasting a sunset directly over the ocean. Wifi and internet access was excellent during our stay. We found the accommodations well kept and had great communication with both the owners and property manager Anita, who called a couple of times just to check with us. Although Grand Turk is small, you want a car rental to explore. Thank you Mike and.Jeanne for sharing your home with us. Paul and Jean

Summary: This property is the perfect couple getaway. We came here in 2017 and fell in love with Grand Turk. After a long year of Covid we couldn’t wait to come back. The house is very cozy with a constant sea breeze flowing through the house. The wrap around porch allowed for the perfect breeze and afternoon cocktail drinking. We only saw locals walking on the beach and after 10 days we knew them all by name and felt like a local ourselves. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. This is my favorite romantic getaway spot in the Caribbean and I can not wait to come back. If you choose to eat out check out the Ridge Cafe for a gourmet meal out. We ate there 3 times. Amanda is a super server and her father is an amazing chef. The food is spectacular and so is the view. The Sun brunch is wonderful. For lunch check out the Jack Shack for the best conch fritters and Barbie’s for the best cracked conch. The best local rum is the Bambarra dark rum. Grab your fresh fish at the fish market. They come into the market around 5-5:30 everyday but Sun. Grand Turk liquors has the best selection. Do take a box or bag to the grocery store. They don’t always have bags. You will need a car to get around. You may see golf carts but I advise a small car. Contact Nathan’s rentals. He will meet you at the airport and then you can just drop it back at the airport when you leave. If you choose to dive use Blue Water or Bohio divers. Skip eating at Bohio. It’s very pricey and just okay. Go to Ridge Cafe for quality and price. If you want the chill Caribbean vibe then this house and Grand Turk is your spot. Only Downside, Bohio dive resort down the beach. The bright lights from the resort shining down the beach and the Thurs-Sun nightly bands can be loud. You do get past it, but Bohio’s noise pollution cuts into a otherwise perfect spot. Nothing an extra rum will not fix. Cheers!

Summary: It was a real pleasure waking up each morning to the beautiful sunrises overlooking the ocean. This lovely cottage is in a great location close to Bohio Resort which has a nice restaurant, bar and a couple of special event nights. We loved Grand Turk for the laid back lifestyle and friendly people. Eddie was very helpful in getting us checked in and provided much knowledge about where things were on the island. Some of the furniture and appliances were a bit worn, but the place was clean and again, cannot beat the location!

Summary: My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Sea Biscuit for three weeks. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations so far! The cottage is quaint, well equipped, safe, and has the most wonderful screened in porch where I spent many hours reading. The bed is comfortable. There is plenty of seating (two couches--one in one on porch). Great outdoor shower. Just down the beach is the Bohio Dive Resort - a fun place to eat and drink and from which you can snorkel, dive, rent bicycles or paddle boards, or just hang out. Great music Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Great buffet Saturdays! It's not too far to walk into town (1-2 miles depending on where you are going). We recommend The Secret Garden (at the Salt Raker) for dinner and drinks. You will have to plan your grocery shopping according to the container ships, but that's easy. We had no problem and ate in most nights (we do take our own frozen meat and fish....). Sea Biscuit is a perfect place for a couple to hang out together for any amount of time. There are beach chairs and a great tree provides shade on the beach. We used the charcoal grill almost every night. Eddie, the caretaker, is very helpful and knowledgeable. All in all, we highly recommend staying here for vacation if you want a quiet spot away from large resorts and lots of people. You won't be sorry.

Summary: We just spent an amazing week at this wonderful cottage! Loved everything about this fully equipped cottage. A great location right on Pillory Beach to enjoy wonderful sunsets from the screened in porch...just yards from the ocean! Does life get any better than that! The owners ( Jeanne and Mike ) are wonderful to deal with! Jeanne always answered any questions I had very promptly by email. You're a very short stroll along the the beach to the Bohio Resort if you're wanting to go for a drink or meal. The cottage is in perfect location for just relaxing and soaking in all of the natural beauty. We loved to just sit back on the porch and relax and read while enjoying the island breezes. We truly hated to leave this perfect little cottage! We've stayed on Provo many times, but for us, this was heaven! Can't wait until we return..!
