Positive: The owner was very nice to us and the apartment is very close to supermarkets and located in a quiet neighborhood. We always felt save walking at night and the closest bus stop was only a 15 minutes walk.
Negative: I think the main problem with this apartment was the distance from the center of Rome. It doesn't look very far but the public transport in Rome is not the best... So, if you have a car it won't probably have a bad impact in your trip but if you plan to use only public transportation be aware that it will be time-consuming and do not schedule train tickets for early in the morning, because there is a good chance that you won't make it in time. Besides this, the second most important thing to say is that in the description of this apartment it is written that it is a one-bedroom apartment and this is not true, it is a studio. When you enter the house you have a room with a kitchen, and 2 couches that turn into beds and then you have a bathroom. It is not a big problem but it can lead to confusion the way the description on booking is written. Something that bothered us too was that the house was not well cleaned, it was superficially cleaned, if you looked carefully, lots of places had dust... Some things that can be improved in the apartment: the bedclothes (that are mainly composed of beach towels or random covers and not actually sheets), some appliances were not working (like the toaster), we were not able to find silverware although we searched in every cupboard, it would be nice to have a mop (specially because the shower can become obstructed very easily and lead to inundations), it would be positive to have shower gel and shampoo (and not products that were left by the previous guests...) the window could use some curtain that blocks the light (because there is not any way to block the light except for a very see through curtain and this way to much light comes in). Although this was not a problem of the owner, we had an unpleasant experience with the turistic tax. When we made the reservation in July, the price per person per night was 3,50€ and 3 days before our trip in October, booking sent an e-mail informing us that was now...
