Come enjoy our home located within Hotchkiss Grove: a private waterfront community association featuring a beautiful sandy beach with a large swim area, and quiet roads --the BEST family atmosphere!
In addition to the roof top deck (we call it Sky Deck!) that has panoramic views towards the Thimble Islands and Long Island Sound, the home has Central Air, high speed Internet access, appliances throughout, finished basement (with treadmill), and an outdoor shower stall (you'll love it!).
The house has four bedrooms:
Master bedroom with King bed, LCD TV, and full bath with a jet tub.
Guest bedroom #1 (Blue room) has King bed and LCD Wall Mounted TV
Guest bedroom #2 has 2 Bunk Beds (total sleeping in this room now 4 beds)
Guest bedroom #3 has a Full bed
In addition to the bedrooms, there is a fold out bed in the finished basement and the family room which can provide more sleeping options
Branford has all the conveniences of a larger town, but within its many waterfront enclaves, the “vibe and character” of a smaller town.
What's close by? Everything!! Walk to Famous Lenny's Seafood restaurant, Bud's Seafood market, Guacamole's Mexican Cuisine, and the Indian Neck Liquor store. Check out the Stony Creek Brewery. Take a cruise of the Thimble Islands. Hop in the car for the Owenego Inn (A great place to go have a waterfront drink), fine eateries throughout Branford, Pepe's Pizza (the best!) and the night life of New Haven, Yale University, Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun casinos, and if adventurous, head to Newport or NYC which are both about 1.5 hours away.
The Commute
Shore Line East trains run regularly from Branford Station to New Haven, where commuters can board a Metro-North train to Grand Central. The ride into the city takes just over two hours. A one-way ticket is $17.75 to $24, depending on the time of day and method of purchase.
Driving to Midtown Manhattan on Interstate 95 takes two to three hours, depending on traffic

Summary: This house was perfect for our family reunion. The location was great! Plenty of room for the family, the little guys loved the downstairs and the adults loved the rooftop deck. The house had all the amenities and the owner was great! Thinking about making this an annual getaway and would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had an amazing time at our stay in Branford. A short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, the host was very responsive, the home was clean and spacious and the whole family enjoyed themselves. We can’t wait to go back in a few months, and enjoy that roof top deck 😍

Summary: A wonderful stay in a very comfortable and spacious home in a great setting and convenient location on the CT shoreline. Two of us spent a very enjoyable week visiting the area for a nearby college graduation. Our adult children and 8 year-old granddaughter joined us for part of the stay and the house met all of our needs, helping to make the occasion very special. Loved being situated a block from the water and while the weather was on the cool side, we had daily walks down around the beach and surrounding neighborhood. A Crow's nest deck on the third floor of the house was spectacular for late afternoon relaxation, overlooking the bay. Terrific area restaurants complemented our opportunity to eat in a couple of nights with all the kitchen amenities we could need. Todd was a very helpful and responsive host and the arrival and departure were very smooth. Will long appreciate this stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Summary: We had an awesome time at the Branford Beach house. Plenty of space for the kids and adults… the roof top deck was the best, beautiful view and good times up there. Steps to the nice private beach! Can’t wait to go back!!

Summary: Our family had the privilege of living in this beautiful house by the beach for 5 1/2 months while our home underwent renovations. The house is spacious, bright, impeccably clean and welcoming. Waking to the sound of the waves on the beach, enjoying the sweeping views from the 3rd floor deck and walking to the end of the street to soak up the ocean view was a treat whether summer, fall or winter. The owners were helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend this comfortable, well appointed home, whether for a short visit or a longer stay!

Summary: We would definitely recommend this home, particulary for those families with young children. The home was beautifully decorated and had a well-equipped kitchen.
