We offer a unique home where you have huge divide views while listening to the river running in the valley below, it's pretty amazing.
Our house is cozy, comfortable, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Incredible continental divide views, river running through valley in front, national forest behind. Tucked away from it all yet close to Nederland (7 Miles), Blackhawk/Central City/Casiono's (14 Miles) Boulder (24 Miles) Denver (41 Miles) and DIA (63 Miles)
Perfect summer temperatures at 8500 feet. Great hiking and mountain biking trails from the house. Fall foliage is amazing with aspen meadow on property. Exciting winter activities all close by including Eldora downhill and cross country skiing 11 miles away. Please have 4WD, AWD or 2WD with chains to access our home. Hot tub on deck for relaxing and star gazing. Hand carved 20 foot wildlife totem pole and breathtaking mountain views make this getaway unique.

Summary: Views were amazing! Spent many mornings and evenings out on the back porch watching sunsets/rise as well as just enjoying the views with loved ones. I would recommended AWD or 4WD all year round (not just during winters) as it is hard to get up that hill without. Definitely needs some updating (minor repairs with flooring and painting of walls) also the very first step up to the main door is loose so please be careful. The screens in a few windows did not fit properly allowing for nats and flies to come in, so making sure the screens are updated and fit properly would be great and maybe adding a sliding screen door to the back sliding door to allow for more mountain air into the cabin while keeping out bugs! A couple more fans placed in closets for just in case use as it does get pretty warm inside. We could not find the spa vacuum so if that could be placed in a closet that is easily accessible that would be great as well. Overall we loved the decreased amount of technology. I believe we maybe turned on the tv 2 times for maybe 15-30 minutes during our entire stay! The cabin has wonderful views and the windows allow for so much light and great sights! Lots of places/comfortable furniture for sitting! Great dining room table space and a kitchen table surrounded by windows with amazing views! Felt very comfortable while still staying grounded in the mountains!!! Thank you so much!

Summary: I booked this house a year ago for my entire family because my son was suppose to get married in August of 2022 in Boulder. The wedding did not go thru so since we had our other son getting married also in Nov. of 2022 I asked David if we could just move it to this year because we really did not have time to come out last year. He was very willing to move the date and very accommodating. There were 8 adults that ended up coming this last week to the house and we had a blast. One of the couples where flying into Denver at 10:30 in the morning so we were allowed to check in a little early which we so appreciated since my son (lives in Boulder) had to go to work. The house is VERY clean and VERY well set up with supplies. Like David said on his description I would suggest AWD or FWD vehicle to get to the house. We have a Toyota Highlander with AWD and did fine. The view is amazing from the deck in the morning and was very relaxing to sit out in the morning and drink our coffee. I would definitely recommend this place if you want quite and relaxing area. Thanks a ton David,

Summary: Great place to relax with friend and family. Only there for two nights but easily could have stayed longer. The host was great and answered any questions we had.

Summary: Property was nicely tucked away without being too hard to access. Definitely do need 4wd or awd to get up the driveway but it's doable. The deck had an amazing view, tons of space and a wonderful place to get away for a bit. Every morning the hummingbirds were great company. All in all would definitely recommend.

Summary: Our rating of this property is impacted by the address being incorrect whic seems like such an easy correction. The listing description and photos were an accurate portrayal of the property. Luckily, I had read a past review months prior about confusion in finding the home ... so when the address on VRBO did not match the signage up to the house, i recalled there being something strange...we made it to the correct home and tried the lockbox code. The limited communication stated the address as 22 Farrell when the directional arrows up the hill (mentioned in the arrival info) had 24 Farrell. The home is aged and could use some refreshing and repairs. One of the downstairs bedrooms did make our daughter uncomfortable at night due to no window covering.

Summary: Great Location. Hot tub was perfect for 4 people. Wi-Fi worked really well. No cell phone service through Verizon. Place was not very clean and had lots of ants. Had to buy some ant traps because there were so many. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: My family had a great time at the cabin. It was about 10 minutes from Nederland so it was the perfect location for us. Plenty of rooms and clean. Simple instructions for checking in and out. Oh and the hot tub was an absolute plus!
