Week/ weekend rental. Sleeps 10-12, 2K, 1Q, 2D, 3 seat couch with a queen pullout, and twin roll away, 4br. On a secluded wooded lot. Golf, lakes, airport, firepit, 2 lakes, clubhouses, winter, spring, summer and fall sports of all kinds, shopping, restaurants, and much more to do. This will be a great place to come rest, relax and have fun. Great for a family or friend get away. Come have fun in the Lakes of the North's new mini Waterpark & clubhouse which has slide, lazy river, wading pool for babies, large pool, 15 person hot tub, game room, wi-fi access, banquet room, TV large screen room, weight room, and observation area over looking the pool area. Lots of fun for everyone..

Summary: The pool was being remodeled so the kids weren’t able to use the water park wasn’t aware of that till we got there.. a lot of bugs an a musty kinda of smell inside.. the yard was full of leaves I thought it could have been cleaned up a little better. But all in all it was decent just a few things that could have been done to be better .. family a friends had a good time regardless.

Summary: This property was nice for a quick family vacation. The owner was very cordial and informational. House overall had more than enough rooms for our family. Very close to Lakes of the North facilities, no more than a five-to-ten-minute drive. Located close to Gaylord, Alba and Mancelona. Hour drive to Traverse City. Property needs to be cleaned a little bit more as there was grease stains in kitchen and back of furniture was sticky to touch. Previous renters items left in night stand. An improvement could be to add WIFI and Cable or Satellite TV to property. Currently has digital TV with bad reception and few channels. Need to take towels and bedsheets provided off of listing as you need to rent them from the owner. Need to take of dryer and spa tub from listing also because house has neither. Note owner did mention renting towels and sheets and also the property does not have a washer or dryer prior to this prior to booking. Also, would recommend buying a new grill or cleaning the current one. Could not use due to being really dirty and innards looked broken. Overall, the positives of the community amenities (which is an extra cost), the excellent location, the multiple bedrooms and space in the rental, and, most of all, the hospitality and patience of the owner, I DEFINITELY WOULD RENT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Summary: We booked last minute and were able to secure this property about 25 minutes from Torch Lake for a family get together. We knew it was dated and cluttered from the pictures, but didn't realize it was also going to be dirty. We arrived and found dirty dishes in the sink, underwear in one bedroom and literally cobwebs everywhere. There are also crazy electrical extension cords and power plugs everywhere. I contacted the owner who basically offered a discount to stay there again which I declined. I just don't believe this is a safe place to stay. Total fire hazard and dirty. The owner lashed out at me in her text saying other people's dirty underwear was fine. She even admitted the housekeeper didn't finish cleaning the place but then said, oh well it's fine. I know it is in the woods, but my kids got literally 15+ spider bites each. Stay away. It should be a tear down.

Summary: This was the perfect place for an unplugged getaway. The house was nice, lots of kitchenware to use. Judy was kind and quickly responded when needed. Firepit was nice.

Summary: My wife and her family stayed for the weekend. We had a great time. We truly enjoyed the cabin. Having a full kitchen was awesome. It was so peaceful tucked back in the woods.

Summary: Great communication with owner, she was very helpful. House was clean with recent updates. The mini water park was great for children and adults. Huge hot tub and coolers were allowed in clubhouse. Felt very secluded but only short drive to ski resorts and town. The only negative was no Wi-Fi/cable but great if you want to enjoy quality time with friends and family without distractions. Plenty of DVDs provided by owner which was greatly appreciated.

Summary: We had a wonderful all around experience! The house was exactly what we needed for our weekend of snowmobiling. Plenty of sleeping space for our crew and the house is super close to the trails! The owner was fantastic to deal with, very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!
