Summary: The cabin is in a nice, quiet location; close to river related activities; and 20 minutes to towns of Romney and Moorefield. It isn't very close to good hikes and there is not much usable property. The deck has a friendly lizard and nice view and the fire pit is good. The bedrooms are fine but living area is small, water has a strong odor (making showering unpleasant) and it needs a deep clean and replacement of furniture, rugs, appliances. We have a dog, it's great they are pet friendly, but the cabin smelled of dog. They should use the extra cleaning fees for a real cleaning. The toilet did not work for the first evening and next morning - the owner instructed us to play with the chain as she had no one available to fix it. Luckily it started working. In the end, we managed. It was better than camping, and not too expensive, but we will not be staying again.

Summary: We decided to vacation in the mountains this year , boy we were not disappointed, this property was fantastic , quiet … there’s no comparison, seclusion at it best , Wi-Fi kept up , basic amenities were close ,highly recommend if you want nature at its best !!!!

Summary: Thank you for a wonderful week! We explored, rode a train, fished, hiked, shopped and ate locally, and stayed in a comfortable and secluded cottage with a million dollars view. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Summary: This was our second stay and we had a great time. Beautiful views from the cabin. Had everything we needed. The public access fishing area was beautiful - highly recommend it.

Summary: Nice little cabin to get away from it all, and we appreciated the host for helping us out. The price is great, but it definitely could use a deep cleaning.

Summary: Overall the property was outstanding and I even wrote a poem about your property in your guest journal! The only issues were that we felt the refrigerator was not empty as we left what was left and would be happy to sent pictures...those foil things on the stove are well worn and could easily freshened up with new burner bibs as well as the defrosting seems to have leakage. Light over the sink doesn't work as well.
