Merry Memories on the Lake is a beautiful, well maintained Smoke Free and Pet Free Lake House.
Bring your boat(s), jet ski(s), skis, etc. or just bring your floats and water toys to float at the end of the dock in our quiet cove. Guests must provide their own life jackets and flotation devices.
FISHERMEN welcome, 2 slip dock, enough parking for 5 truck & trailers. 15 minutes from Green Pond Landing.
Our Home has an "open" floor plan where you will enjoy the great outdoors and beautiful views of our cove. This cozy retreat includes vibrant colors, a large yard, lots of lake front windows, multiple porches and a covered 2 slip dock in a quiet cove. Property includes a cart path to the lake and a beautiful bulkhead at the water's edge with stairs down to the beach area. Home also includes a screened in porch overlooking the lake.
You will find a TV in all four bedrooms with sleeping accommodations for 9 when utilizing the chair-convert-a-bed in the sunroom off the master.(please don't book our home if you have more that 9 people staying over night)
This 2 story home has 2.5 baths, a full kitchen, full size washer & dryer, comfortable family room and convenient dining room as well as a bar area off the kitchen.
Property is minutes from area campgrounds, marina & boat launch areas. (Big Water Marina is one cove over with gas, boat rentals and a small ship store.) Only 15 minutes from Green Pond Landing, 30 minutes from Clemson University, 20 minutes from Anderson, SC & 15 minutes from Hartwell GA.
And yes we have internet and cable TV. And no we do not allow pets or smoking on premises. Additionally, our house is on well water. There are no county or city water lines run down our street. The water is safe to drink, cook with, etc; however, we do provide a Brita water pitcher for your use.

Summary: This wonderful house around the corner enabled our entire family to gather together at our place for Thanksgiving week and comfortably live & sleep when festivities at our house were done each day. It had everything they could possibly need. My sister-in-law is a mattress connoisseur, and she exclaimed several times how comfortable her mattress was. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, so everyone slept blissfully. We are incredibly grateful for this convenient, spacious, comfortable home for our loved ones from all over the country. Thank you oh so much!

Summary: Awesome visit! The house was perfect andSally and Robert were perfect hosts. Our boats were in the covered slips in their immaculate boathouse. So convenient to be literally a few steps away from the house.we totally enjoyed our visit!

Summary: We came here for a family gathering with our adult children. The house has an excellent layout and everything you need. The hosts are very responsive. There are plenty of things to do here at the cove on the water as well as walks with beautiful scenery and friendly neighbors. As a family, we all agreed that this is definitely a home we would return to!

Summary: We had a great time on Lake Hartwell. The house accommodated our group of six adults which included my wife and I along with our unmarried children and their friends. The quiet cove setting was perfect for our relaxing weekend. The sun sets were amazing.

Summary: We had a wonderful experience! Owners were fantastic. The house was great for what we needed. The house was clean, walk to the dock is easy, and the dock is fantastic. We had a great time jumping into the lake in the quiet cove and the little beaches and islands around on the boat we rented. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had a great stay at this house. Only thing we might change is putting curtains up in the master bedroom over the big door windows. Plenty of room for 9 ppl to stay without being on top of each other. Wouldn't have wanted anything more than a 4 year old to have to sleep on the pull out couch in the master bedroom. It was a very thin mattress. It was fine for us because our little boy was the one sleeping on it. We would definitely rent this again. Great location to Hartwell. Super nice dock in a protected cove area. The kids loved getting to run and jump off of the dock into the water.
