This is a beautiful and traditional Florida stilt home, with elevated view for your ideal vacation on undeveloped Pine Island. The lakeside house is the pride and joy of it's English owners who have owned it since 2006 and is their own vacation home. It is furnished to a high standard with top quality modern furnishings with the accent on luxury and an attention to detail whilst retaining the traditional Floridan character. The house has clean lines without clutter. We have a beautiful private pool and sun deck with uninterrupted views of the lake, leading to our large screened outside living/ dinning area. You will wake up to stunning views of the lake and golf course, with the ocean only a short walk away.
The tropical golf course of Alden pines is available to you, if boating is more for you then you are within minutes of 4 marinas where you can catch a boat to the surrounding islands' unspoiled beaches, or you may want to get back to nature and take a bike ride on the quiet roads or go fishing in the ocean or the lake right in front on the house.

Summary: Overall a lovely stay. Beautiful location and convenient. Would definitely stay again. The house is well equipped and very pleasant with a beautiful sun room. Only recommendation, and this is for Pine Island in general: take bug spray! For whatever reason the no-see-ums/biting midges were out in full force during our stay on the island.

Summary: We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the island. It had everything we needed for a perfect relaxing vacation. The neighborhood was great and neighbors made us feel so welcome. The view is amazing and there is so much wildlife to enjoy. Great owners!!

Summary: The island is amazing. We had a blast eating at restaurants, enjoying some golf and taking a charter out fishing. The island is a great place for families or anyone looking for some sun and relaxation. The people on the island and very friendly and helpful. I will absolutely come back. The house was nice, but needs some work and upkeep. No screen around the pool, so the bugs make the pool area unusable in the late afternoon and beyond. All in all, the island is great and the property is serviceable.

Summary: Perfect for a close family; intimate, cozy and has all the furnishings and household items for convenience. Warm decor makes you feel at home. The owners were awesome, super responsive and quick to take action. The pool was a little dirty, to be expected with being an outside pool in Florida but it hadn't had a good cleaning in a while, we have friends that own a pool service and have an outside pool so we know the difference. Outside of that, the 3rd full bathroom downstairs was a bonus off the pool in the lanai are and the views....GORGEOUS! A great family getaway for old fashioned fun! The Island was beautiful. the people friendly, the food delicious and so much to do! My hubby took advantage of the 9 hole course one morning and it was in the backyard!

Summary: We returned to this beautiful house for the third consecutive March, and it once again restored our bodies and souls. Leaving NH's freezing temperatures, snow, and ice and arriving on Pine Island to it's warmth, blue sky, and sunshine was pure bliss. As it was last year, the house was immaculate upon arrival. It is spacious, bright, and very well equipped with most anything you will need. I would suggest that you check in the kitchen cupboards before shopping for food and other supplies. We found 10 pounds (plus) of sugar in the kitchen closet! Very friendly neighbors who are eager to help if needed; quiet street; birds galore (ibis, herons, osprey, a pair of frequently seen bald eagles, and more); about a 10 minute drive to Winn-Dixie and Dollar General; wonderful small-town island feel; excellent restaurants on island and in Matlacha...everything we love about staying at this beautiful house. Due to the coronavirus, we felt we needed to cut our stay short by several days and return to NH. Already looking forward to returning to 7769 Grande Pine Road in March 2021. Highly recommend.

Summary: Our family from Oregon and Colorado stayed here over Christmas this year. The pool was used daily along with the exercise room. Inside a great kitchen set up and lots of location options for dining. Very comfortable and clean! Carroll Garland

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. It was a very last minute hurricane evacuation rental, but with very limited notice the place was clean and ready for us. There was plenty of room for our party of 6 and the pool was a bonus! We love Bokeelia and enjoyed our stay.
